Can a God of love be angry? What has angered God? Let's take a look at scripture for answers. Psalm 7:11 tells us God is angry with the wicked every day..... Most people picture Him as just sitting around on a chair doing nothing... but look at this picture.... and realize He is jealous over His glory and His namesake and His people.
Psalm 7:6 ...arise O God in thine anger....
Deuteronomy 9:8 also in Horeb you provoked the Lord to wrath so that the Lord was angry with you ... Deuteronomy 1 through chapter 5 pretty well tells where we are.
Not so different from the train of events laid out in Deut 1-5 Today we have children sent out from home at 6 in the morning for their school, many more at 6:30 missing breakfast at home and missing time with mother and father, so they can ride the bus to some non-neighborhood school. And where are those children going? To a school that honors God and teaches them to understand all things from His view?
And people willingly pay for such abominable schools which are a stench in God's nostrils. See Ezra 9:14 on the theme of breaking God's commandments and joining in affinity with those who contradict Him. The Christians are in affinity with the atheists and the blasphemers when they smilingly send their children to the schools run by atheist rules and blasphemers' ideas. That makes Him angry. Yes, it does. Don't deceive yourself. Do you think for a moment He can't be angry at His own people? Yes, His mercies are new every morning. Yes, He has mercy and forgives us over and over; but then, His own people, the ones who call themselves by His name, get up again every morning to repeat the same offence, to join in affinity with those who blaspheme Him and prevent the little children from coming to Him. Not only preventing them from drawing near, but even feeding them regularly with ideas to drive them from Him and weaken their faith. I believe God is angry with those who allow text books and teachers which communicate things to weaken or destroy any growing mustard seed of faith a child might have. I know the story told me by a high school sophmore tonight certainly kindled my anger again. That's why I have written this page.
Is it against your "religion" to be angry? Then throw away that false religion and accept the true faith about God and what He says to us.
Proverb 16:6 by mercy and truth iniquity is purged
Many many students in the valley of decision. Many more active agencies for their unbelief and eternity without God than are working for their good. If you don't do something about this, how can you be in agreement with God?
When I heard that young man tonight speaking about the things school taught him that seemed to indicate there was no God, I could see multitudes of others just like him being led down the fiery path of unbelief through evolution and the lack of God's word in schools where children spend so much time with their parent's blessing and support, giving their authority to the unbelieving System to teach and train up their children. This is contrary to all God's instruction. It is contrary to all righteousness. It is abomination and a stench in God's nostrils. Unless the people who call themselves by His name change their ways I fear they shall see Him soon flare His nostrils and depart far from the land whose people has so despised Him, and counted Him unworthy for them to stand up for His word. For a picture of students leaving home and going off to college, picture little minows leaving a safe harbor and swiming out into an ocean filled with sharks and catfish who love to devour them. Picture a branch broken off the vine of support which was parents and godly people who helped them grow, being cast adrift into the winds of strangers who mostly seek to straighten out their thinking away from faith of God. Picture yourself standing before a holy God and answering for what you did or did not do. If you saw a car about to back over a toddler in a parking lot, would you run to help and hollar while running? How much more should you do when seeing multitudes in the valley of decision being bombarded with unbelief and actions that are contrary to God and His commandments? The sins of omission are numerous, and in America mostly uncounted, unrecognized, and un-repented of. The sin of joining in affinity with those who break His commandments is one that specically is mentioned in scripture as making God angry. This applies whether it be affinity with a wife who is an unbeliever, for she is a role-model and teacher to the children, or the hired teacher who has the parent's authority conferred upon him when he is paid by the parent's money to teach the child. Wake up, open your eyes, and smell the smoldering smoke of His anger. And Repent with a godly sorrow, doing all that is in 2Corinthians 7:11 And when we turn from our ungodly way, He will repent of His anger, and find blessings for His people instead of correction. But if America repent not, then they may have to learn again how grievious His correction can be.
