When all the world needs Christian soldiers, how many are sitting back on their lees, enjoying pleasures instead of taking the help of God to the lost and the poor.
The word of God is pure. Refined seven times. Preserved unto all generations. Cursed is he who adds to or takes away from (diminishes) the word of God. His word is alive and powerful. I get strong when I see people being robbed, especially of the truth. This letter is briefly covering some of the robberies so that hopefully, some will be able to rightfully claim the truth God has given to us all. When I was a child, there were churches all around, but hardly a drop to drink for a thirsty soul was offered. Oh, sermons were presented on Sunday morning from the pulpit, but who talked of such things during the week to kids and teenagers? Certainly not the pastor, he was busy preparing his Sunday morning sermon. And not the choir director, she was working up the music for Sunday. The masons said all paths led to God, as did the Hindus in a different way. The Roman Catholic strong believers invited you to become a Catholic for it had a lineage back to Peter. Well, I needed a connection with Jesus, but mostly they showed me rosaries and Mary, and their priests. The Methodist preacher, well he told our teenage group he didn't really believe the blood had much to do with it, and he thought it was up to us to build a kingdom here on earth. The Baptist, well he at least wanted us to say the sinner's prayer and be baptized. The Church of Christ, well, I just didn't run into them in those days to hear what they would say. Nor did I hear anything from a Lutheran or Episcopalian or Presbyterian. Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, and Masons, and maybe a Roscrucian or two, that was about the extent of my exposure. Lot's of contradictions, with little to no explanations or going back to scripture like anybody knew how to use scripture to show truth to a growing boy. Well, people, that's why this is written, to show truth, in a clear and focused way, not avoiding the controversial issues of our day. So here goes a few major arrows from scripture. Hope they help the heart of some who read. 1. There is an almighty God. 2. That one and only true God himself confirms the existence of the angels and Satan and his demons and the battle. 3. There is a war. Satan is still fighting. He has been defeated, but he still fights till the end. 4. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 5. He created man, male and female created He them. He made man from the dust of the earth, and Eve he created from a rib of Adam. 6. Adam and Eve had perfect communion with God. 7. They chose to disobey. They lost communion with God. Their spirit became dead to God and alive to sin. 8. Through them, sin and the curse of sin came upon all the world. 9. We have all inherited that same problem through Adam, as we are all his descendants. We were born with a spirit that came from that fallen spirit which we inherited from our parents and grandparents all the way back to the first man and woman. 10. God made a way for us through Christ. As all died in Adam, so ( see Romans 5:12-19) The Baptists hold up their born-again doctrine, and that's good. Being born again is the beginning of Christian life. The Methodists hold up fellowship and community, and that's good. We should all be friendly. The Catholics hold up confession, and that's good. We should all confess our sins, many ignore that teaching. The masons hold up a bible on their altar, but they go on and destroy its core teaching. The Baptists have let go the very teaching of Robert L. Moody and R. A. Torrey that God blessed so much in their world wide evangelism meetings. The teaching of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. See Torrey's book on The Holy Spirit. I read it in the Baptist book store on South Main Street, Houston, Tx in 1965. There Torrey explained how Moody left a will about what was to be taught in his college, but after his death the issue of the Holy Spirit was such a problem to so many influential people that they used the law to circumvent Moody's will. The college ceased teaching the way Moody and Torrey preached, and changed the way Moody wanted it done. That's in print in the book by R.A. Torrey. The Methodists have all too much let go the things preached by their early preachers about the Holy Spirit. The Catholics, well the confirmation ceremony is just that a ritual without the power of faith to receive what the words say, all too often. The Masons? How many men would go to their lodge meeting and learn it's rituals by heart, without supplying the same diligent learning to scripture? Have you seen the statues inside the big and old Masonic Lodges? They don't make those pictures public, but I did see them on a grand calendar they published for their members once. With some of their words they say masonry is not a substitute for God, but the effect of other words is to dilute and negate the teaching of Jesus. It is like many other universal so called ways to god, subtly deceiving and leading away from Jesus Christ. Born again. We are born again when we believe Jesus died for us on the cross and receive what He did for us there. Our old spirit, inherited from Adam is removed, and we are given a new spirit to quicken our mortal bodies. That new spirit is straight from God. Then, we read in Romans 12:2 that we are to renew our mind, according to truth, so we can understand what we have received. See also Romans 8:6 in connection with 12:2 He tells us to be baptized. Peter explains baptism gives the answer of a clear conscience toward God and also connects it with grace to live in a sin-free place, just as the flood did for Noah and his family. The teaching of R.A. Torrey and D.L. Moody is wonderful on the baptism of the Holy Spirit. So also is the old teaching of the Methodist church, the Catholic church, and the Lutheran and the Prebsyterian. They just don't believe it anymore. But Paul taught it in scripture, and that hasn't changed. So read what scripture says about it. Oh how weak and lukewarm, how avoiding of controversy and letting the state teach our children in a godless environment classroom. God have mercy on us and America for that above all else. It is far worse than abortion. Murdered infants go to heaven. Children growing up in atheist schools too often go to hell. You tell me which you think is worse. Who's responsible? He who sees a thief and bewrayeth it not, is partaker of the sin. Proverb. On the Roman Catholic Church Let no one be overwhelmed by the claims of that Roman church which they have written and recorded as their own church law. At the same time they were claiming the pope to be infallible, they were perpetuating, and the pope in agreement, with error that Martin Luther was anointed to break.
The Council of Trent is a huge fall-back of the Roman Catholic Church,
and they claim validity by the antiquity of that meeting, but age does not make right.
The Council of Trent said that Mary "by a special privilege of God" was exempt from all sin, even venial ones, during her whole life. Like the Immaculate Conception, which it presupposes, Mary's personal sinlessness follows from the Church's constant belief in her spotless purity and is founded on her dignity as the Mother of God . . .
Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
There is only one perfect man, the Lord Jesus Christ.
They make too much of their claimed earthly geneology back to Peter and Paul. There are too many who believe the only way to heaven is through the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. God Himself sent a lightening bolt from heaven to split that church, so he could show what was true and what was not, when He sent Martin Luther with the doctrine of Salvation. Anyone who deviates from what Luther preached on the issue which God caused to split His own church on earth had better get down on their knees and have another talk with God about the matter. It may help if you studied the history of those days and for the next several hundred years to see how significant in the spiritual arena Martin Luther is. Salvation: see Reconciled at the Cross, see Colossians 1:20 Baptism: Peter tells us clearly that water baptism gives the answer of a clear conscience before God. Therefore, no one can have that same clear conscience who refuses the faithful obedience towards God in water baptism. Why? Because God has instructed it. Therefore the full blessing is in the doing of His will. What is the fullness of that blessing? It is hinted at in the references to the flood which gave Noah and his family a place to live which had been cleansed from the presence of sin. What did the flood accomplish? It wiped out the sinners of the world. What does baptism accomplish as we follow in faith? It gives the believer a stronger place from which to live his faith towards God. Is baptism just a symbol? No. It gives the answer of a clear conscience towards God. No symbol can do that. It gives a stronger place from which to live the Christian life. It is the first step of willful obedience through faith. Thus it is the prescribed genesis of our faithful steps of faith to follow. As in the reference to the flood, it is a process of doing away with sin, so there could be a clean place in which to live. Is God in it? God is in the fulfillment of all His word. He works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. Is it necessary for salvation. No, Jesus told the man on the cross he would be with Jesus. Is it good to do. It gives the answer of a clear conscience toward God. It fulfills your first step of faithful obedience towards Him. What does scripture say about when to do it? "Why tarriest thou, go and be baptized." What does it mean to be baptized in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost? The name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost is YESHUA. This is found in Isaiah 12:2 where we are told three times three ways that God is manifest in the flesh as our Salvation. The word used in Isaiah 12:2 is YESHUA. Isaiah 12:2 sums up the Bible and YESHUA sums up Isaiah 12:2 . BORN AGAIN God wrote He would take away our old spirit, the one inherited down through Adam, and give us a new Spirit of Him. A new Spirit and a new heart. When a man receives mercy to believe on Jesus, at that moment He is born again as a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Paul said, I reckon then that if one died for all, therefore all were dead. And the body without the spirit is dead. So the one who believes, at the moment of belief is born again. They received in the here and now, what God did for them through Jesus at the cross 2000 years ago. Original sin, as commonly taught by most churches. As Adam sinned, his spirit died to God, and we all inherited the spirit that gives life to our body through him, thus the sinful nature. Sin came upon us all through Adam. And righteousness came upon us all through Christ. MERCY: Mercy is over all His works. See my work on mercy. It is the first of all God's works toward us. Jesus came to us through the mercy of God. Luke 1:72? Psalm: I am like a green olive tree because I trust in the mercy of God. Power of God: The Baptism of the Holy Ghost. This is evidenced historically in the Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian churches with their ceremony of confirmation, where they get around to saying, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit receive the Holy Spirit. But to all too many this is just a dead word, themselves putting no faith in it. However, we do by faith, grace, and mercy have the opportunity to receive the Holy Spirit. See the writings of R. A. Torrey in his book, The Holy Spirit., and many others. See the church doctrine of the Presbyterian and Catholic and Lutheran, and pentacostal denominations, even the Methodists' early preachers were big on the Holy Spirit. Baptism of Fire: There is a baptism of fire. In heaven, as in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female. Neither baptists, catholics, methodists, pentacostles, but all are of Christ.
