Attacks on the word of God

The attack has three prongs.
1. stealing the word from schools and public life
2. changing the text
3. conditioning people to think God's word is insignificant so they don't need to learn it. Contrary to Matthew 4:4

The original deception from the garden of Eden has multiplied.

There, the temptor, watered down, changed, or re-stated the word of God.

That and more is happening today.

Stealing the word of God from children and students:
From the early 1600's until 1948 Bible classes were taught in America's schools. I own a copy of a Bible text book from Dallas Independent School District in 1947. You can buy one if you like.

The foolish nine man so-called Supreme Court made it illegal in 1948.
They were foolish because they ignore the Supreme Judge referenced in our Declaration of Independence.

Though most of the Hebrew and Greek text as received by the translators of the KJV is still with us, many people are profiting from the publishing of changed texts.

It is apparent to me that too many children and parents are getting the idea that Jesus didn't mean what He said.
Consider Matthew 4:4, Luke 4:4 and its reference from the book of Deuteronomy 8:3
Many children, adults, and even pastors say,
"Why do you think we should know the word of God exactly? Isn't just a general idea sufficient?"
I ask you to remember the temptation and ultimate deception of Eve in the garden. One thing she did was to enter into a discussion with the enemy.
Another thing was to receive the word of her enemy over the word of God.
The result was that she became deceived and suffered great consequences of her failure to pay more attention to exactly what God said. More on this deception later
