When you become aware of God Almighty and began to follow Him by faith
The first things you do are to simply follow righteousness and learn of Him.
You are a student, learning and growing.
There will be lessons and proving of those lessons,
even testing of your faith, like gold purified in the fire.
You have the power to make choices in your life.
He has told you to choose life and not death.
He has told you to choose blessing and not cursing.
Those choices are best made with faith towards God.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:10
Remember Hebrews 12:3
three steps to walking the life of faith depicted in the previous chapter, Hebrews 11.
1. Having a vision of God
which gives you joy
and from the joy comes strength
so you can endure the trouble to pay the price for the vision.
2.Paying the price, enduring the cross
3. Despising the shame
Results in finally being victorious and receiving the crown of life . See also James 1
Noah was given a thing to do.
He spent his life doing it. He saved himself and others.
He had to ignore, to "despise" (see Heb 12:3) the mockery of many and continue in his faith towards God.
Many will not see why you do what you do when you choose to follow the LORD.
But you will find your greatest fullfillment, joy, peace, strength, and contentment
in following His clear
plan for your life.
Finally, remember Esau who failed to pay the price of getting up and doing for himself what needed done. Be willing to pay the price for what you want.
