Book Reports

The series of books by Scholastic, Inc. called Goosebumps written by R.L. Steine are a terrible influence on many children. Those children affect others. The infection of death and sickness spreads as parents and teachers let the books continue to be so available to so many children. Ask your pastor to mention this problem from the pulpit. The widespread sale of these books and use of them in our public school libraries needs to be arrested. There are many other similar books out there which need some kind of a filter prior to getting into libraries for third grade little boys and girls. If you want healthy boys and girls feed them healthy books. If you want sick boys and girls feed them sick books.

As a child thinks so does he tend to grow. Children's thoughts are a garden planted with seeds from the books they read and the tv they watch and what they hear from others. What is being planted in the children by such things?
