21. I wish this next book had been named, Our Cultual Parallels to Social Utopia . I think it may have sold more, but I bought it under its own title which is... Resurrecting the Third Reich, by Richard Terrell, Are we ready for the America's modern fascism?
The author, Richard Terrell, is a professor at Doane College in Crete, Nebraska where he teaches in Fine Arts and in Humanities. He and his wife have two children and live in Nebraska.
God has blessed this man with a gift of insight, or in Bible terms, discernment and wisdom and understanding. He is an excellent writer. I just wonder how many people never picked up the book because the title seemed so strong? However, the author was brave to write on a subject that is even stronger than the title. The problem is, how to get the dulled American mind to read such truth. That truth is as old as the Bible, and played out again and again in the nations. The Jews had to learn their lessons about serving mamon instead of God. The early Americans, as early as 1810 were seeking the dollar and lifting up profits more than they were seeking God. It only took a few years of prosperity and freedom from oppression for them to forget the God who blessed them. One of the signers of the Consititution wrote to a friend, that he was greatly saddened by all the talk about markets and profits, that had replaced godly talk in so many places, so frequently. Our founders warned about forgetting God. This book explains what happened in Germany after the German church followed men instead of God, and dollars on earth instead of eternal treasures.

According to author Richard Terrell, there are frightening parallels between our own society and that of Nazi Germany. Adolf Hitler and his minions deceived millions of decent Christian people with propaganda that appealed to their spiritual needs. That same strategy is being employed today to lure Americans into worshiping the false gods of the New Age movement and Secular Humanism.

With spreading cultural despair and scorn for the Word of God among intellectuals, teachers, and even ministers, we are closer than most Americans realize to the utopianism that seeks to "cleanse" society.

This book gives details of how the German church people came to be deceived through their own needs and desires. It is a lesson for us to see what has happened and is happening to us. It should have been taught all over America from the fifties on to now. Every school child and every parent and pastor needs to see people deceived big time in these days just to keep them on guard against their own deception. A people is destroyed for their lack of knowledge. It shows how Hitler worked through and with the Roman Catholic Church to deceive it. How He did the same with the Lutherans and the rest of German churches. It covers much more. The occult as well as good Christian resistance is also covered.
