TOLERANCE

We all need to hear what Josh McDowell has to say about the new tolerance that is infecting our schools. Tolerance has been redefined. It now means to accept and give praise to all life styles as being equally as good as your own. Children in many schools are being taught such tolerance towards homosexuals, lesbians, gays, and other things. Is this what you want to continue until it reaches your children? The momentum is growing in these changes. Parents need to compare notes and see what is happening.

"Be yourself and let others be what they want to be, and while you're at it, come learn from all these people all the life styles that might fit you" is what the gays want your child to hear.

DOG RACES

GREYHOUND RACE TRACKS, PROMOTED BY WEEKLY READER

"Race tracks for dogs and horses are good and fun for people to watch." This has been promoted by the Weekly Reader service for elementary children that most schools use. Posters of horse track racing have been commonly placed in junior high. Such advertising in schools promotes the acceptability of gambling and gambling environments. Why are we letting this happen? Is it because most parents don't know what's posted in their schools? Please cooperate with this effort to make Parent's Information Network an effective bulletin board of what's happening in our schools. Send you observations of what's happening to this home page.

COCAINE

There are plenty of posters in school to scare our children about the evils of life. One nationally sold poster boldy says in bright colors, "Crack, Cocaine, and Needles can ruin your life. Don't do drugs." Lots of fear about what to avoid, but little blessing from what can make your life good. Schools do not bother to tell children that truth found in the Bible, the word of God, can help make their life good. In fact, truth is a word that is almost denied in public school today. The word of God can give them hope and confidence for good things in their life. How soon can we put up posters that point to LIFE in our schools for our children? Remember Isaiah 7:15.

WISE MEN

Used to be that wise men said, The Bible is the foundation of any good education. The first institutions of higher learning in America required Bible knowledge as entrance to school. The school then continued to teach Bible. This was true at Harvard, Yale, Princeton and most of the first 200 colleges and universities in America. Check out Wallbuilders Publications. The truth of God's word is now denied by the practice of modern education. And look at the fruit of this practice. Ignoring the Bible has caused myriads of problems for children. How can the children believe in truth, when parents and teachers don't act like they believe the truth?... at least as it pertains to training up our children in a godly manner according to God's word.? God's word is truth.

COMPROMISE:

Compromise is not a cure all. There are limits and conditions to a godly man. Our society is teaching too much compromise. Children are being conditioned to compromise. Compromise is promoting the erosion of traditional Christian values. Compromise is removing from the mind of children any validity of absolutes.

FANTASY WORLD

A world of fantasy is a world where nothing is real. Like the cartoons on tv where one character machines guns down a row of other characters, and then the next minute all those who were shot down just get back up again like nothing happened. This kind of lesson is being bombarded on children today. Boiled down to its essence which is recognizable in many ways, the lesson says, "Nothing counts. Nothing much matters. We can always change and make up for it."

Sitting in the library, he sees the largest poster dominating the main center wall that says,

"WORLD OF FANTASY".

On the right side of the room he sees "WORLD OF FICTION".

And on the left there is "WORLD OF FACT".

On the card catalogue dominating the center of the room is a large poster seen upon entering the library which says, "Good Ghost Stories".

Upon exiting the library, a poster stares you in the face saying "GHOULISH SCHOOL".

Down the halls, pictures are displayed showing dinosaurs, cavemen, imagination pictures of how some people think the world looked before man evolved upon land out of the chaotic slime of the primordial sea. Beautifully drawn and colored large posters daily indoctrinate the layers of the child's mind.

At other times of the year, posters are displayed that portray the highest and loftiest thoughts of men who deny God. Such things as "I think, therefore I am." "What man can believe, man can achieve." Many quotations from reputable agnostics and atheists, mostly not recognized as such by Christian pastors, adorn the walls of our school hallways and classrooms to soak into the child's layers of understanding day by day for up to eight hours at a time, forty hours a week.

Josh McDowel tells us that fewer and fewer college students believe there are absolute values. When values are not taught from scripture how can teachers expect children to believe in true values?

TRUST

In the classroom, pre-schoolers and first graders are too often exposed to sex abuse education behind their parents backs, without the knowledge or consent of mother or father.

The atheist (humanist) manifesto states that such early exposure to sex helps to quickly mature the child so he can enjoy sex. The atheists also believe that exposing a child to early sex education is a good way to drive the child to early sex and alienation from traditional Christian values of the parents.

The atheists also know that early exposure to sexual ideas is a strong root for the child to have early sexual fruit in his or her life. The atheists and many people who attend church use the name of Child Protection as a device (of the enemy) to quickly alienate children from their parents.

How? By teaching tender trusting minds to question their own parents and everybody else close to them in life. After all, most child molesters are dads, they blatantly say to the five or six year old little girl. (Remember the parents have voiced to their children that the school is their surrogate parent and can be totally trusted)

Many people argue for the right to go behind parent's backs and put a burden of judging mommy and daddy on little Susie. To have an authority figure tell a five or six year old little girl that she must judge her daddy and mommy and uncles and aunts is a horrible thing. To tell her that she should call the police if she doesn't feel good about what he does is a hatchet in the relationship of parent and child.

The child trusts mommy and daddy, and by that trust is able to accept what they say. When the child begins to question or doubt, or set himself up as judge over his own father and mother,...that is when the parents can no longer be the same trusted influence.

Why do you think scripture says, "Unless you have the faith of a little child, you cannot enter in to the kingdom of heaven."? Unless we can wholeheartedly accept whatever our Father does in full trust that it is loving and good for us, we cannot grow as He would have us grow.

Unless we want the blind to be leading the blind we must not destroy the child like faith of little boys and girls in their own parents. Unless we want children to be their own judge of what is good for them, we will not destroy their child like faith in their own parents.

The parents have full authority over their offspring. The parents want to see their children grow up in their own image. Catholics like to raise Catholics. Atheists like to raise atheists.

People who trust their parents like to raise children who trust their parents. Let no one touch that trust between parent and child. It is a heinous sin to even slightly tarnish the mirror of a child's heart toward his own flesh and blood family or relatives.

There is a season for a child to trust. Telling him to judge his own parents is breaking that season. It is like picking a fruit before it has blossomed. Putting the idea in his mind that he should judge his own parents is not something for any person to do. Such ideas will come when the child is grown to that season of life.

Anyone may go to the parent and in their own wisdom judge whether that parent is right or wrong. Parents are adults and as such are subject to judgment by their peers. But children are the sacred charge of God to those parents. Children should not be led to pre-mature distrust towards their own family.

A good father gives good understanding to his own child. The child receives by his child like faith. Without that child like faith,... the child would not receive the same without the faith as with the faith.

VALUES

Other programs in school curriculum, common place, tell the child that their parent's values may not be the same as their own. They read that they have the right to pick and choose their own values. They do not have to believe what their parents tell them. They can decide for themselves. It may not be in the first place you look, but if you look at all a child reads, in any given year, you will see it more often than you like in most public school classrooms of 1996.

POSSIBLE RESULTS OF CURRENT TRENDS

The child's mind is being fed these filters:

With ideas like these as the foundation fed to your child five days a week, 8 hours a day, starting at age five or six going through college and beyond, how do you expect him to seriously devote hard study time to learning the truth of God's word?

How do you expect him to live by something he doesn't know? He will live by what he knows what he learned was mostly learned at school forty hours a week.

What little you taught him of your values was mostly debunked and contradicted by the process of self-evaluated HCT (Higher Critical Thinking). God bless you with revelation of the life and death between which you must choose. Choose life so you and your children and your children's children may live.

WHO WILL TEACH YOUR CHILDREN?

Who will teach your children's children? Which way are things going now? Extend the line of today's events to see where they are going. Then walk in the light while you have the light. Remember, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and He told us to perfect holiness in the fear (phobia) of God.

So it is good to have a fear of God. Let us not fail to give God the glory due to Him according to Romans 1:10-20. We can trust the word of God which endures to all generations.

Seek out the Book of the Lord, and read, for in it are the words of life. Pray and ask the Spirit of God to show you the fullness of His truth. For every word of God is true and His word is righteous altogether.
