Among those many and the result of them is life or death. You choose which you desire.
He has set before you blessing and cursing, life and death; choose life, that you may live.
Like grains of sand on an ocean beach are the many choices of your life. They seem so small as each is decided, but their accumulation amounts to the limits and boundaries of the ocean.
You choose how to spend each moment of each day. The accumulation of those choices determine what you have at the end of each day, week, month, and year.

Search out the word of the LORD. Read and study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Blame no one else for your choices. A gun held to your head can not force you to choose that which you do not desire. For to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Faith toward Him sets you free from the bondage of sin and death, even from the fear of death.
The common reason people fail to make the most excellent choice is they did not know it was available. Be not ignorant of the things of God. His way is the one to choose.
You will be making choices all your life, a repeating pattern of choices that tends to strengthen as you proceed. Like a river bed is made from the flow of water, so is the path of your life resulting from the accumulation of your choices.
Those choices can build you towards strengthening of life, or weakening of death; it's your choice.
What you choose to eat, to do or not do; whether you eat good food, junk; exist in front of the boob-tube watching records of other people's fantasy to entertain yourself, or put in your own effort to live your own live, the choice is your own to make.
