Christian Parenting
Jesus was raised up on good things so he could learn to reject the evil things. (see Isaiah 7:15)
Christian parenting begins and ends with Jesus who said, If you believe in Me, do what I say.
Christ is All and All.
Your children benefit greatly by hearing you read scriptures from their earliest days.
The foundation of ideas laid with words determines the frame work for their understanding.
Reading the scripture to your children from birth and before.
Feeding healthy thoughts to your children.
Feeding healthy meals to your children.
Christian parenting does not sacrifice children to the fires of Baal.
Those fires include anything that would burn or pollute the life such as garbage T.V., garbage, ie. trash games.
Christian parenting does dedicate children to the glory of God, and seeks to raise the children with the help of God.
What does this mean?
Remember Samson. He was dedicated to God by his mother.
Doing all things as unto God is a directive we are called to do.
Putting your faith to work is a good thing because faith without works is dead.
With each new day put your faith out for God to guide and direct your steps for the day.
Acknowledge the LORD in all your ways, and He will guide and direct your steps and the intents of your heart.
Your meals for the body and your meals for the soul are important. You feed the mind like feeding the body, small bites
well chewed (thought over) so they can be digested (understood) and used.

Children tend to act like the models given to them.
Where you told them they came from is what tends to be like the D.N.A. (Growth Guideline) for their development.
Telling them they came out of chaos or from a rock dissolved in the ocean, or from a reptile .... tends to be like telling them they need to live a life of chaos and seeking to imitate "cold" behavior.
On the other hand, letting them know they came from God gives them the goal of being like Him.

(Question for the day: Why do kings build castles with walls ?
To protect their peace of their family and things they love most. So we don't really need a ton of money, when what we want is peace to enjoy what we love the most....
so having sufficient, let us therewith be content
for contentment is a word dispised mostly in western cultures
but of great value to those who are wise, and in all the ancient writings, contentment with godliness is great gain
but to seek after riches is to bring problems....
There is a difference between doing good things that result in good results and just plain seeking after increase of money to the end of having it burst out the barns
