What Christmas means to me
The anniversary of Almighty God being born into the flesh to show us the way to live, (sacrifically for the other's good), is dawning on us. May we anticipate it with the awareness of what it signifies.
Almighty, Invisible, Creator, God manifest in the flesh as a man
A reason for rejoicing all the day long
and for us to go and do as He showed us to do,
being the light of the world and letting our light shine
daily and continually rejoicing in Him as other brethern are born into His Kingdom.
Dear friends and readers of www.christianparents.com
The season called Christmas is upon us and this year I decided to write something for it.
I hope you rejoice in the Greatness of God's GIFT.
Almighty Eternal God sent the GIFT of Salvation and Redemption
manifesting in the flesh as the Son of God, Christ Jesus.
Just consider these things.....
The enormity of God manifesting in the flesh as a man.......
The humility of Jesus to step down and do this for us......
The goodness of God our Eternal Father to have such mercy upon us...
The giving of such a total gift which we neither earned nor deserved....
His mercy in sending such total provision to us through His Son Jesus....
The only begotten Son of God, the only man born of a virgin who conceived by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God...........
He is the firstborn of many brethern (see Romans 8:29)
And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have preeminence....
...... and we are the many brethern who are born again after Him, and in truth, many are born again every day,.... and for this reason and with this understanding, I celebrate the birth of brethern in Christ, through believing in Him they are born again, daily..........
this celebration is a daily reason for rejoicing when we see it this way all the year long
Christmas. What it is
...not the commercial sales thing we see so much...
but instead... Christians use it as a time to celebrate
The gift of God
Christmas is said to be a time for celebration of the birth of Jesus,
the gift of God.
the Son of God
our Savior and Redeemer
To all the world He gave Himself.
All things in Him are ours through Christ.
God is our gift of Salvation.
The presence of God is our Salvation.
The knowledge of Him and His knowledge are given to us in Christ.
His power and glory and eternal life are our gift in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 12:2 tells us three times three ways God is manifest as our Salvation
Isaiah 12:2 El is my Yeshua God is my Salvation
Jah Jehovah is my strength and my song
He also is become my Yeshua (Jesus) (Salvation) (Savior)
Betweeen Isaiah 12:2 and 1Timothy 3:16 we can see the fullness of the goddhead manifest bodily in the flesh
Isaiah 7:14 ...a virgin shall conceive and bear a son.....
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born,
and His NAME shall be called
Wonderful
Counselor
the Mighty God
the Everlasting Father
the Prince of Peace
Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His Name
Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God With Us
Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.
John 1:14 And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, as of the only begotten of the Father,)
full of grace and truth.
John 13:3 And Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He was come from God, and went to God;
Ephesians 3:9
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world
hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:16 For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities or powers, all things were created by Him and for Him.
Colossians 1:17
He is before all things and by Him all things consist.
and God gave Him to you
Colossians 1:18 And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning,
the first born from the dead; that in all things He might have preeminence.
1st Timothy 3:16 God was manifest in the flesh, seen of angels, preached unto the people who'd not heard of Him,
believed on by some, .....
The biggest most mind-boggling idea I've ever come upon is this, that the eternal, omnipresent, all-powerful,
all-knowing, God of all that is, would make Himself known in the flesh of a man.
The God of the universe and all that is, manifested in the flesh (made Himself known, seeable, and touchable) in the man Jesus .
Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus was born of the virgin Mary who conceived by the Holy Spirit of God Almighty.
We see a brother or sister of Christ born again each time someone believes on Jesus Christ and Him crucified for their salvation.
In a way that is a part of the birth of Christ. If you believe on Jesus and want help in growing, please write
