Daddy

Romans 8:15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but you have received the Spirit of Adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Galatians 4:6 God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Who has a daddy?
Who has a caring daddy?
And a daddy with time to show his care?

Who has a daddy to tell your problems to?
Who has a daddy who will listen?

And after he listens did he hear what you said?
Did he understand and do something for you?

Did he stroke your furrowed brow and temples to relieve the tension of tight muscles and brow?
Did he gently and ever so wisely slowly turn your head and neck.
Were those shoulders ever so tight, but he helped loosen them up for you?

Did he say a few words to help the mind trap tension go away too?

Did he feed you good food, for the body and soul?
Good food for the belly and also the heart and mind and soul?

When you began to have something go wrong, did it somehow get better fast?
When something ugly raised its head in your life, did it get driven away before it could attach to you?

Dear sweet soul, if you had a daddy like this, you were rich.
And if you can be such to your child or another, then will you grow in riches.

Did you ever start to stutter, but your dad destroyed the bad seeds that attacked you?
Did you ever start to grow weak, infirm? but your dad found a way to give you strength?
Were you ever hungry, and something special was prepared just for you?

Thank the Lord for your family who loved you, and ask for the way to thank your family too.

Parents, moms, dads,...
Let your faith be towards God that He will do what He said to help and guide and strengthen you as you seek to comfort and help your children. Trust Him to lead you in your word and deed. Ask, and you shall receive. You are not perfect, but He is. Let Him be your sufficiency. Trust Him to make up the difference and fill in the gaps. He has worked all things together for good for those who love Him and are seeking His purpose.
