Wonderful

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born
unto us a son is given:
and
the government shall be upon His shoulder:
and
His name shall be called
Wonderful,
Counselor,
The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace

When you use this word wonderful
let it be like when you use the word good
remembering Mark 10:18 where it is recorded by the Spirit of God that Jesus said
"Why callest thou Me good? There is none good but one, that is God."
Also recorded in Matthew and Luke 18:19

If you see a thing to be a godly work of faith, then call it good with this special meaning that it is a work born of God and effectualized by faith towards Him, or that it was a work justified by faith towards God.

You can see the scripture telling us "every word of God is pure, refined seven times..."

Psalm 119:140 Thy word is very pure, therefore thy servant loveth it.

Proverb 30:5 Every word of God is pure. He is a shield to them that put their trust in Him.
On occassion, I have seen verses with a word that seemed hard to understand why it was there. The temptation was to just ignore the word. Until I realize the truth of Proverb 30:5 which told me no word was there without a pure purpose. Every word has it's own significance. So I continued reading and re-reading that scripture, praying, until the meaning was shown to me.
By this process, I was shown significances of the second chapter of Genesis which to many is a variant repetition of Genesis chapter one. And many ignore it. But there is a lesson there to be found. It eventually explains and amplifies Hebrews 11:3

Now to repeat Psalm 30:5 and make a further point. Every word of God is pure. He is a shield to them that put their trust in Him.
If you put your trust in Him that every word of His is pure, then is He a shield to you, and you will see the why and the how.

Purity is not always easy to appreciate or even recognize. It sometimes requires a high level of testing or discernment to recognize the pure from the unpure. But such awareness can keep one from following an impure road sign and from reaching a hurtful destination.

Psalms 12:6
The words of the LORD are pure words, as silver tried in the fire, purified seven times.

Psalm 19:8
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Pray for God to illuminate your heart and mind and soul by His Spirit and then read Proverbs 1:1-7 the first seven verses of Proverbs over and over again till they sink deep into your heart with revelation.

Treat no word of His lightly, for they are each one pure and full of rich meaning derived from the total context of all He has had recorded and preserved for us to read.

Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy word giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.

A set of simultaneous equations defines as many variables as are used. Likewise does a story define the words, and God's story recorded as it is in the KJV is preserved unto all generations.

Why the KJV? There are over a thousand reasons.
1. God chose the king of the known world to prepare the holy scripture into language for the people.
2. That book was sent around the world for 400 years.
3. It has been and still is the best selling book. Satan did NOT do this. God did!
4. Each later variation was based upon different sources being used. Only one can be right.
5. Read the preface to the KJV and then read the preface to those new versions. You choose.

Psalm 78:4 We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He has done.

Psalm 107:8

The word wonderful is used twenty one times in the English translation of the KJV of scripture.
