DIFFERENCES

Christianity and Humanism

Differences between God's ways and popular ideas

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8,9

Isaiah 55:6, 7 says, "Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God for He will abundantly pardon. The popular ideas in America today are mostly those of Humanism.
Humanism appeals to many Christians because they wrongly understand it to mean doing good deeds for other people, they associate it with the good Samaritan in the gospel of Christ, so they don't mind lending their strength of money and voice to support it. Problem is that Humanism is a word used mostly by atheists to mask their denial of God so Christians won't see them for what they are.

Please remember that if the children are not being taught to keep God in all their thoughts, to understand all things by the light of Christ, then they are being trained to ignore God, to understand all things by their own reasoning. And the school officials say we shouldn't use the schools to endoctrinate children with the myths of Jesus Christ. How long, O God, till you show them wrong who say, "God will do nothing".?

Have you ever realized that your child is learning every minute of the day? Either to keep God in all his thoughts or to ignore God. It is possible to look at things with faith toward God for help in understanding, but schools deny this to children by training them to ignore God. Children are being trained five days a week to ignore God and to rely instead on their own 'higher critical thinking.'

Discipline is not allowed in schools because of foolish philosophies of men. It is those philosophies which have replaced Christian values even in school. Consequently there are extreme excesses of disgusting behavior in the schools. Such things rarely get publicized, such as junior high girls walking up to the guys they want, grabbing them in a way prohibited by scripture and saying I want you. And there is little the principal can do by today's humanistic rules. You can be sure the schools do not tell parents about those problems having grown so big. The only people who hear about it are the parents whose children tell them.

Some teachers don't say anything because they are ignorant of the differences between a godly education and the humanism they have learned in school.
Many teachers and administrators keep quite because they want their pension. Is money our God? The soul of one child is worth more than all the gold and diamonds. Let those who believe in God stand up to follow God and be the salt of the earth. God will bless those who honor Him to do His will. The thing that a man fears will overcome him. You can fear God and He will conform you to Himself, or you can fear man and the loss of money, and you will be conformed to serving man and money. Choose whom you serve, and be strong for Christ. He will take care of His own.

Popular ideas of humanism taught in public schools today include:
1. Anything the mind can conceive and believe you can achieve. But the Bible tells us the story of Babylon. The people conceived an idea, believed they could do it, worked hard at it, and were prevented by the intervention of God.

2. Keep your eye on the goal.
The Bible says, Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith.. We must see the goal given us by God, and we must keep it in the focus of God.

3. Keep your dreams first and foremost before you.
Scripture teaches us to see all things by the light of Christ, ... Who is blind as my servant or deaf as my servant? Who sees not by the seeing of the eyes but by the Spirit of the Lord? Who judges not by the appearance of things, but by the Spirit of God?

4. Only pay attention to the visible things that can be measured and calculated.
Scripture says the visible things shall pass away, but the invisible abides forever.

5. Discover your strongest desires. Fulfill yourself. Be yourself. Find your own life and live it to the full.
Scripture teaches , If any man would save his life, he shall lose it. Deny yourself and follow Me. If any man take not up his cross and follow Me, he is not worthy of Me. The ways of God are not the ways of man. His ways are as high above our ways as the heavens are above the earth. We are called to be conformed to the image of Christ. We are called to be restored to that from which we were fallen. We were created in the image of God. We fell from that glory by the original sin of Adam. We were all in Adam, the original great grandfather of us all. By one man, death came upon all men for we were still in his loins. Now, by Christ has life come. Discover the life of Christ. In Him is fullness of Life. He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. 6. Every day in every way, man is getting better and better.
Scripture teaches that in the last days sin will abound. That sin has increased from the beginning. Like the law of entrophy reflects from nature, that things in a state of order tend to fall into disorder. That law of the universe tells us disorder is increasing. Scripture teaches that man is getting worse and worse in his sins, each sin feeding the growth of another, and enlarging the first. Just as a young man who first entertains evil friends, then goes with them to do evil, then turns even more evil himself.

7. Man evolved from the slime and ooze of the primodial sea, first as a single celled organism, then a group of cells, then maybe a fish of some kind, then some reptile on land, then an ape, then a pre-man, then a man.
Evolution and atheism teach that we have improved since we started out as a single cell organism, that we evolved by random chance out of chaos. That we have evolved upward. That therefore we need to look to our own reason for any hope of a better future.
Scripture says God created man in his own image.

8. Atheists teach there is no God so just train the children by experience of 40 hours a week in public school to ignore Him. They train the children to act as though God is not in the equation.
They teach He does nothing, neither good nor evil, so just ignore Him.
Scripture teaches God is. He is, and He is judge of all. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. He is come to save those who believe in Him. Seek His face and draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you.

9. Atheists teach that by Higher Critical Thinking, mankind will be able to solve the problems of mankind.
Scripture teaches that man cannot by reasoning know God. The key to the knowledge of God is Faith. By faith we understand. See Hebrews 11:3 KJV. The highest thoughts are those of God. The scripture is the recorded word of God. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Teach your children that truth! They're learning the opposite at public school. And people wonder why children get in trouble when they leave home! It's because, they have not learned the truth which is able to make them wise unto salvation, as from a child. Don't be blind. Don't accept false arguments that say you can ignore God's command to train up your child in a godly manner. Remember the NorthWest Ordinance which required a godly education for statehood. Though many deny it, and most fail to teach about the Northwest Ordinance, the truth of its requirements is a historical fact. Many other references could be given on this subject. When the nation quit teaching the truth of God, the nation declined and tried to invent more and more laws to control a godless people. Just like the founding fathers predicted if their followers failed to maintain the truths of God. Our government was only intended to govern a people who were already constrained in their heart. The founders knew it couldn't work for a people who had no sense of eternal judgement and sin and righteousness.

10. Humanism values say, seek the honor that comes from men.
Scripture teaches to seek the honor that comes from God. What should children learn? God's way or the ways of the world? You know the answer. But look at what is happening. What are children learning to do? What are they being taught by example at school, by posters at school, by books they read, by school functions that omit God? BY SCHOOL FUNCTIONS THAT FAIL TO MENTION THE NAME OF JESUS! What is a prayer that is hindered from the name of Jesus at a school function. Does not God know that the Christians would have given voice to His name if they were seeking to please Him more than to please men? Does not God know that those same men who pray at school functions omitting Jesus' name are the same ones who loudly say His name in the safety of their home or church? Is it shame? Is it guilt? Is it people pleasing instead of God pleasing? Is it the fear of man instead of the fear of God? For those who know to do a thing and do it not, to them it is sin. Does God give grace unto repentance? Yes.

11. Humanism says, seek to fit in and compromise.
Scripture teaches to not be ashamed of God. If the Jews had compromised how long would their families have retained their identity and not been assimilated into the world? Isn't there steadfastness with God the reason God entrusted them with the scriptures, because He gave them the grace to be steadfast in protecting the word of God? Believe God has given us even more grace in Jesus Christ. To whom much is given, much is expected. Beloved, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Fear God, and learn His ways. When the love of a blessing doesn't lead you right, then perhaps the fear of God shall keep you on the right course. Stand up for God, or stand up for ignoring God with the humanism, at least the children will get a clear message,....but this thing of saying I believe in God, I just don't want to give Him glory around the children when we're all gathered together at some public function,...that is an excuse for sin. Not a valid excuse, just a false justification of a kind of action by which America has become tarnished. The men who made this nation great stood up for God, with God and by the faith of God. We can do the same, at least for the children's sake, as unto God today.

12. Humanism says "Let's exercise wisdom now,...let's be democratic about this....let's don't offend anyone. We can all show our private faith in our private place, but lets not bring our private ideas into the public arena where the children can see it.. Let's just show them a system that ignores the honor, and glory, and power, and kingdom and sovereignty of God. After all, we all know llike you're letting us teach the children, so that shows you really believe it too, that we evolved from the chaos, and there is an upward growth of man, not an downfall, therefore no need for what you call Salvation, and after all by higher critical thinking we can all compromise and present a unified front to the children which leaves out God.! SCRIPTURE teaches to lead the little children to Jesus, daily, all day long, to help them see God in all things, through out history, and the physical world and how things work.

13. Humanism says there is no Natural Law as referenced in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States of America. Congressmen ridiculed a judge for appealing to Natural Law. Scripture teaches that the things of God which can be known are clearly seen from what He has created. Can't you see how far off track from the path of godly training up of children the public school system has gone! Open your eyes, read the Book, and see for yourself by the grace and mercy of God who gives the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth to lead you into all truth. There are people laughing at how the Christians say they believe in God, but send their children to a school that trains children to ignore God and instead teaches them the very lies that are most useful in leading children away from reading the Bible and knowing the truth of God.

All this popular teaching about self-esteem is contrary to the teaching of Jesus. If we glory it is to be by and through Jesus Christ. If we do not show the children this, they will learn to glory in themselves and by their own works, not knowing that God is sovereign, not knowing the meaning of dead works, not knowing the meaning of "I by mine own self can do no good thing."
Self-fulfillment is being advocated when the children should be taught to seek the will of God for their lives and to seek to fulfill His plan for their lives. But with forty hours a week spent in ignoring any appeal to God, denying the children the opportunity to call upon God for understanding, they are being trained to rely only upon themselves. How long will it take for you to see this? Cannot a even a fool see that if you practice something for forty hours a week, forty weeks of the year, from pre-school through 12th grade, that you will be accustomed to doing the same thing you were trained to do, which is to rely solely upon yourself and your own efforts, as though there were no help of God, no Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth, no godly guidance, no sure truth upon which you can depend and build your life?

ERRORS IN SCHOOL INCLUDE:
See 2 Timothy 2:16,23
Titus 3:9
1 Timothy 1:4 , 1 Tim 4:7, 1Tim 6:5,

Endless geneologies...ie evolution

foolish questions....consider all the science fiction what if senerios presented to the children!
Leading a child down a foolish path of imagined possibilities is not good training.
Look at all the science fiction presented as wild possibilities to the children! Just training them to open up their minds to such garbage constitutes a lie, a deception, a snare, a trap, a deadly wall being built against the truth....for the BIBLE Says to avoid foolish questions and endless geneologies, and to leave from the presence of a fool, instead of staying and walking down some path of nonsense with foolish minded people. The end of foolish reasoning is deception and darkness, althought those who are ensnared by such deceptions do strongly believe they are accurate! The schools are using sublte methods to endoctrinate children with nonsense, a step at a time by getting them to consider more and more foolishness, till finally they get the children so far out on a limb of reasoning that they can no longer remember the truth. That's how indroctrination works. And foolish people say we Christians want to use the schools to endoctrinate other children with myths about Jesus !!! God forgive them, and deal speedily with the situation to save what children can be saved from such a deadly designed snare! In Jesus Name, Amen.
