When will there ever be a stronger opportunity to accumulate cash than when you're fresh out of college. Avoid the credit. Buy a used car and drive it. Don't go into hock for a dream car. live inexpensively and build up some cash.

Cash is the only thing that gives you easier options.

Having enough for a decent apartment, and good food, save the rest till you can do something significant with it. How much better to have had an old used car, paid for, so could find time to find another job.
