First we establish agreement together with God that He Is Supreme, (just as declared in our nation's Declaration of Independence. See history of America's leaders on the sovereignty of God)

Next we accept Him at His word, according to His word.

His word is preserved unto all generations. (see scripture references) As for me, I trust God's word over some man's word or any group of people's word. It is vain, empty, fruitless to put trust in man.

Then we study out to see His way in all the small things of our life. He has covered all the bases. We don't stick our head in the sand with presumptuous faith, but we study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We treasure up the word more eagerly, and willing to work on digging it out more than if it were buried treasure of silver and gold, for the entrance of His word gives light to the soul.

And having done all, we stand in His mercy and grace, through the faith of Him who has called us according to His eternal purpose for us in Christ Jesus.

Sports: David said God taught him how to make war and also made him strong and able. By God, David was able to leap through a troop.

Food: There is wisom to be applied to what we eat. It makes a huge difference in our health. See the three Hebrew sons who were taken to the court, Shadrack, Mischak, and Abbednigo.

Grades: His Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding will guide and teach. David said, I understand more than all my teachers because Thy word is my meditation continually.

Continually, you can grow to continually reference all things with prayer and faith towards God.
