There's not so many things important to teach
Do the foundations, those are important.
And do them in the foundational areas of life.
God, food, health, marriage, raising children, teaching and training.
Due order
Not confusion
see writings on teaching tips from scripture.
Do these things and your child will be more than able to do well on learning any necessary details for the tests at school.
But if you omit these things, the child will feel like he is chasing more leaves than he can catch.
The child who sees the root and the seed, the trunk, branches and twigs will not be intimidated by the many disconnected leaves blowing in the wind.
Note: The idea of disconnected leaves in previous statement reflects the disjointed test questions to which the schools teach for TASS and other tests.

Superintendents and heads of dept's and classroom teachers over the last decade have said to me on various occassions that they have no time for the foundations because they have so much current and recent stuff they're required to teach. That means they either lack appreciation for foundations or they prefer to go with the flow instead of standing for their convictions. What flow?
Well, the flow of gov. money to the system and their paycheck. The kids suffer from missing foundations, but the paychecks and raises keep coming to the superintendents who go with the flow of federal guidelines.

The new and recent fed guidelines for the last decade did not originate in the USA. Rather in the UN and UNESCO and Hillary Clinton brought it to the US through her education initiative that began in the state of Washington and wyoming and since spread to all 50 states during the clinton reign of destruction on the public education system.

The System now has a school to work plan which counts students as raw material, and parents as providers of that raw material, to prepare them for the work force. Not as thinkers, but as happy, contented, go along to get along, co-workers. Guidelines have been published to avoid the students getting any strong ideas on any subjects, just passs the tests, and accept all ideas as equal. That is not what George Washington wanted, nor Noah Webster. America's first schoolmaster and her first honored president would have drawn their swords over what is being fed to the children today.

You would think, after all these years of teaching algebra, the SYSTEM would give students thorough step-by-step examples in problem solving; but alas, the examples in today's texts are fewer and less quality than 50 years ago.

I could go into the same comparisons for reading material offered to students.

And how about reading ability? Vocabulary and reading rate has decreased since 1961. Trash reading has increased.

Who cares? I do.

much better than the world's way of trying to make everything "fun". No, make it all beautiful and worth paying a price from their mind, the price of diligence and effort, focus, and work,... so they can learn to love their work and work their love.

MY TEACHERS

A long time ago, when I was a high school student some of my teachers talked with me about changes in the way things were done.

They told me about progressive education which began happening during their life-time (This website shows the influence of John Dewey on education)

They asked me about absolutes. Well, I was a smart guy, I had read the paper back of Einstein's Theory of Relativity, so I told them everything was relative. They were dismayed. My words saddened them.

I didn't understand.

Mrs. Sorenson told us about Brave New World and 1984 and how she had seen it happening in her life time. She did her best to explain to us, but we had not been prepared for the things she was telling us. So like a new rain on hard dry ground, most of it washed off instead of soaking in.

But some of it stuck. Some of it made it through the first few layers of my mind. And stuck with me and took root and grew for the rest of my life.

Only a handful of us students talked much about it. Mostly we got in bad favor with other parents for talking about it. It was not the normal topic of conversation for sons and daughters of professors and employes of Texas A&M University attending A&M Consolidated High School.

Neither has it been the socially accepted subject of conversation anywhere public during all these forty plus years.

The sequel to brave new world came out just a few years later, Brave New World Re-Visited, by the same author, in which he spelled out how we were already there.

Now what are the key ingredients of BNW?
1. A dumbed down population.
2. Re-written historical explanations
3. Omissions of certain old truths from text-books
4. Contented people filling their time with work, drugs, sex, booze, and media-entertainment
5. Conventional proverbs unrecognized by the general population as part of their speech patterns to keep them from thinking.

At the time of World War One, a european asked the leaders, Why fight? Just give me the children to a school of your way of thinking, and in twenty years, you can have whatever you want. Don't fight with guns and bayonetts, just win the battle for the classroom and teach it your way.

Stalin knew this and so demonstrated with his state schools and state day-care. Hitler too.

But do you think the American public knows it. Of course not, it's too important for them to know. Whoever is deciding content for our schools has seen to it such important info is omitted so long till it is forgotten and the people who knew it have died off.

Well, we're now into the fourth or fifth decade of raising children by parents who were raised on tv, controlled mass-media for the dumbing down of America.

The key concepts are nearly totally eclipsed by the new history and sociology and pyschology and mass-marketing. Have you ever seen a university level text on psychology of mass-marketing. They've got that down to a science. Do you honestly believe it's an accident such important information as mass-social-engineering is omitted from consideration in the books given our young students?

Don't let them or their parents learn what we're trying to do, they might opt out of the system. Those words were in a WFISD guide writen by Dr. Carnine in the early nineties.
Not directly, but indirectly through a machiavellan quote and the context of that quote. It was during a time when school leaders around the state where hiding the facts of OBE flooding into our schools.

The Conroe Courier printed letters from parents calling their superintendent a liar, but no such letters got to Wichita Falls. Montgomery county cleaned house, firing 95% of the existing personel to get rid of the infection. But it only worked for awhile, because the entire state was flooded with more and more federal money backing the growing changes put out through the Clintons.

Clintons gave away our missile guidance system to the Chinese communist government who has more missiles aimed directly at us now. Clinton's instigated the New World Education Plan in America, and it has spread into all fifty states. Of course it is not known as that name, NWEP, but the theme can be documented from as far back as 1988 with Clinton involvement.

H7356 in Strong's Concordance RACHAM
1st use in Genesis 49:25, context, blessings of the breasts and of the womb (womb= racham)

Operational definition of the womb:
takes away everything that destroys life
at the mother's expense
and provides everything necessary for life ( and growth)

This same word, racham, also used later for the concept of mercy. We live and grow by His mercy.

The mercy lid on the ark of the covenant.
through which we enter to see
the law which leads us to repentance (tablets of the law)
the new life, resurrection and new life (Aaron's rod that budded)
the provision of God (golden pot of manna)

Mercy is more than forgiveness.
His mercy is over all His works

In His mercy He forgave us
and gave us new life, even eternal life
and provided for us and still does

His mercy covers it all

The same word for womb, racham, is first used for mercy in 2nd Samuel 24:14

The first use of the English word merciful found in the KJV
is in Gen 19:16 with the concept for "to spare" when justice would say to kill or punish.
The Hebrew word here is H2551 chemlah, to spare
so this concept is not nearly so large as is later developed in the word mercies referring to God's many mercies and ways of mercy when the word racham is first translated from Hebrew into English as "mercies" in 2 Sam 24:14


The womb root for mercy is developed to cover the whole concept of mercy, ...... when people understand this
they will have sound reason for more faith in His mercy toward them, and thereby will be more able to grow, by faith in His mercies instead of their own efforts....
