The Truth About George Washington

He believed in God and the judgment of God

George Washington

Defamed by most modern critics, as sissy, picture of weakness, royalty, We've been taught to mock and despise and joke about this man. Who can deny it? Sissy, picture, cut cherry tree joke...that's all ,disparaging remarks putting him down.

The picture in my school books of George Washington made him look like a sissy, primped up, pompous person. All strength had been removed from the picture I remember in my school book. This is in keeping with the plan stated in the socialist worker handbook to denigrate our heroes so the children have no good role model to imitate or learn from. To mock and ridicule our greatest leaders where possible and for sure to spread lies about them is one of the greatest aims of those who oppose the American way of life. The American way of life was first defined by those men who founded this nation. For the Founding Fathers, I accept the definition of David Barton, as including those who signed or were significantly instrumental in the Declaration of Independence and or the Constitution.

Truth about the man: 6'2" warrior trained, warrior bred. Rode his war horse to within 30 feet of row of british muskets leading his men behind him and stopped in front of his men to order them to halt and aim and fire. He was swallowed in smoke from both sides. He escaped unharmed.

French-Indian War: GW had bullet holes in his clothes, his hat, but none in him. The British commander in charge was mortally wounded, GW was next in command, led the troops out front on horse back, clear target to hit. He lived through it. Indian chief came to GW 20 years later, explaining .....all my braves were told to shoot you, you could not be killed. We have come to learn of your God. To which W replied....You do well to want to learn the ways of our God and our Congress will help you learn.

He was a warrior, But moderns try to erase him. Why? Why cut off the children from such a man? Why debase our national leader? Communist Workers Handbook gives several methods used to debase George Washington. Reasonss why are from groupie idealists who deny individual responsibility and individual liberty. They want the state to be responsible for its citizens. They want group rights which are exclusive of individual rights. You can't have it both ways. Group rights rule out individual rights. Such people desire to defame our heroes You can't have it both ways, individual rights and group rights are mutually exclusive.

Cut off roots. Defame their heros, so as to leave nothing to the children as role model. Communism, 1920 from eastern europe socialism of 1850, it was in USA and in Russia and Europe, as part of the continued result of French Revolution and breaking of king's power through Reformation. and breaking of Pope's power. People were not only learning LIBERTY, they were also learning God given rights to liberty....

Communism, renamed to Socialism, France, USA, liberals, humanism, big government....
What books today in public school tell students the understanding of our Founders on the vices of big government? All those ideas are conveniently not taught as we see government predicting a new tax rate approaching 80 percent by the year 2002. What is that if it is not government monopoly? What power, what freedom is left to the people when their own money is taken from them to be spent by the dictates of a government so big? When the government tells parents what they can and cannot teach their own children, that is pretty big government. That is something the founding fathers would not have stood still to have happen to them. No, not at all. But what student today can glean that understanding from the stripped down annals presented to them as history?

The tactics in communist workers handbook are being applied by every one who wants to change America. They don't have to have read the book. The tactics of warfare are discernable to anyone who wants to gain their own goal. Contrast and compare Communism, Capitalism, Scripture Moderation:

People came from England, for the freedom to worship God as they chose. Modern books say they came for religious freedom, but this conotes a freedom from religion as per the modern school system text books show. Instead those early Americans came for the freedom to have religion according to their faith towards God, not dictated by a state or a king as was the case in England and France and Germany.

Adversity moved them to continually depend upon God: Pressures of wilderness, distance from home land provisions and resupplies, French, Indians, and sometimes even the British drove people to God. Compare with Canaan stories. Fall away in one generation of comfort and ease. French-Indian Wars, Rogers Raiders, movie rental video, Northwest Passage,

Prayer Examples by GW: Acceptance speech, farewell address, thanksgiving proclamation, General Orders:bless the ways and means of our defence
General Orders: Give thanks for our recent victory
Witnessed by Issac Potts at Valley Forge: under the tree in the roadway May 16, 1776, recorded in diary, prayer and fasting Prayer Window in Prayer room in Congress, GW, ps 16:1, GW kneeling in prayer.
Continental Congress: paid for 20,000 Bibles to be distributed to the troops and endorsed them with the Seal of Congress

Declaration of Independence and Constitution show faith toward God. Declaration and Constitution linked, by date. Declaration established USA All bills of Congress even after the Constitution were dated from the time of the Declaration. Jubilee, 50 year anniversary speech "it is always safe to read the Constitution in the light of the D" The Declaration is the document which founded the nation and established its principles and purpose. The Constitution is the means of government to carry out the purpose expressed in the Declaration. They are inseparable, contrary to modern teaching.

Law and Changes in Law:
Blackstone, absolute law, now given replaced with evolutionary law
Noah Webster defines the republic as based upon and understood only through the Bible. Evolution: relativism and positivism. evolving man=evolving laws, Replaced absolute law.

Personal Friend of Washington: Witherspoon: preacher, writer, teacher, statesman, orator, President of Princeton College

Words of Founding Fathers: see ref. Original Intent, David Barton

95% of Signers were Christians by their own profession

Another man from the time of Washington helps set the frame of mind of those times in which we see George Washington. Patrick Henry, full speech appeals to God. Another speech, declared he was Christian and despised deism as an abomination, Many of his enemies defamed him with the label of deist, then and now.

Noah Webster, fought in French Indian War, America's First Schoolmaster, Christian, translated Bible into American language for the American people, Blue Back Speller full of Bible verses.

Northwest Ordinance, required Christian schools for statehood.

Not by bayonets, but only by the heart looking to God could this Consitution work, agreed the Founders. They never wanted this nation to be anything but a Christian nation.

From the Preamble to the Constitution:
...TO PRESERVE THE BLESSINGS OF PEACE TO OURSELVES AND TO OUR POSTERITY..

Jesus is the Prince of Peace, He has established the right to that title, and He maintains peace. He totally destroyed the enemy. All power and honor is His.

He is not weak, sissy, or anything like that. Though that's what the enemy wanted you to think.

They , our Founding Fathers, were not perfect. Only God is good. Jesus said. They did look to God. They did as best they saw follow the scripture. They pointed us to God and to His Holy Word. Words of the Founding Fathers: Many quotes........................

I am only pointing to the men who risk life and reputation and fortune for their country, and to what they said. You might give them some great attention because they did accomplish great things, this USA.

Will you try to live your way, or their way? What is your way, from whom did you learn it. What great things has their way accomplished if it was not the scripture as pointed to by these men. John 15:....
Man shall not live by bread alone,...
Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom..
. Those men believed and understood that if a man believed in an eternal life, then he was more apt to seek to keep his conscience clear than a man who believed in no life eternal and no judgment and who therefore could more easily lie cheat steal or murder to gain his ends. Some believe the end justifies the means.
Others believe the only justified way, is the way of faith. The just shall live by faith. faith towards God.

These things were written as an example: for our sakes. Jews have their history. Christians have the inheritance given to them by the founding fathers of America. ....let us preserve the inheritance to our posterity......In Jesus Name, Amen. Show GW in the light of his own words, his times, his friends, and his enemies, and finally scripture, that is the theme of this outline to be expanded as fits the hunger to know. Preach Jesus by those who knew Him.
Preach strong men, courageous men, stalwart and steadfast men who gained their virtue by faith towards God our Savior. So will the young men hear you.

What would we know about Jesus if we filled our history books with those words of men who defamed Him and denied His truth? It is the same kind of thing with the true history of Washington. We must look to his own words, his own writings, and that which was diligently recorded during his life. Not the atheistic interpretations of modern criticism.

There was a time when the Roman Catholic monopoly on power was broken by kings and priests. Martin Luther,
Printing Press, available Bibles,
church split,
results:
Individual faith towards God, instead of toward an institution,
men looking to be directed by their own faith towards God.
ideas of liberty grew, personal responsibility with personal rewards and consequences
During these times, men grew in faith towards God or towards themselves or both.

The main freedom was freedom from some king or pope telling them what to think.
Consequently, they tended to look either towards God through the scripture or towards themselves through their reasoning.
They wanted to find something upon which to base their opinion, to justify to their own satisfaction what they chose to believe and do.

I went to the Rider High School library looking for history books. Going to the biography section, I found a dozen or so books on George Washington. A black and white book stood out to my eye, so I picked it up. The title read, George Washington and Religion. Scanning through it, I found denials of every Christian testimony which had been presented by David Barton and others. I found declarations emphatically stating that he was a Deist, and that no references to Christianity could be found in his writings. Had I been a young and ignorant student, as I was in 1961, when these things were driven home to me, I would have been impressed with the scholarly point by point denial of any Christianity. The book typifies what has happened to our godly American heritage. Many people have worked with a common goal to defame, to mock, to ridicule our godly heritage which the Founders so clearly wanted Americans to inherit. The book American Pageant, 1987, used at Rider to teach history, has many words to leave a poor impression of George Washington. Few of his own words are quoted. The rewriting of American history is being done according to the rules of those who wish to remove the last vestiges of Judeao-Christian beliefs from America. They mock, deny, or marginalize the godly virtues and faith of great men from America's foundational period. Thus effectively robbing the children of good heroes from which to learn.

Can you correlate a corrupted youth with teaching them history shown as corrupt leaders? The socialists can. They have done so. According to the history books seen by most students, there were no leaders who looked to scripture for guidance. According to those same books, even the goals of the best were mostly just greed for power and gold. The book American Pageant used at Rider declares those people who came to America were rebellious, self-willed, greedy, mal-contents and then after a list of such derogratory adjetives, says some of them came for religious reasons. The truth is, of the seed people, nearly all came for reasons of their faith towards God. The book, American Pageant, has some few sentences about George Washington that allow him the dignity of who he was. It has many statements that degrade or present him in a way less than he was. It quotes those who detract him. It ascribes to him the taking of God's name in vain, as an expletive. It gives no narrative to communicate his virtues so a student could grasp the splendor of his heart and soul. The highlighted and offset texts about him are mostly of such a nature as would lend themselves to leave a mediocere impression. True enough, it can be said that the book says several good things about the man. Indeed the book does string together a list of virtues, separated by comas, run together in a single line, declaring in summary form some of his virtues. Thus the book was probably snuck by a patriotic reviewer who had no time to read in depth, or else was out gunned in politics of text-book sales. The book is another example of omitting the godly American heritage. Signed, Larry A. Rice. Feb 20, 1998, Wichita Falls, Tx. Thank you for reading.
