Dear senior, you have found a roadmap. It is written to help you understand what's going on in the world.
The things I want to give you include:
Many voices clamor and shout for your attention. Please return to this site often for a clear and focused light to show the way of truth. More links are being added weekly.
Topic List
Praise and honor is yours. For you have accomplished good goals and made right choices to come this far. You have shown diligence and perseverance. You have exercised enough patience to make it through to the end of this particular goal.
Thanks be to God you have made it this far. By His mercy and grace, you shall continue to the finish in good success.
Use the mouse to click on the vertical scroll bar at the right side of your screen. This will scroll the topic list.
The Topic List is a summary of articles and other sites available. Remember, you have the whole menu list on the left of your screen for other selections.
I have listed some topics on the Topic List that have no underline. Those without the underline are not yet loaded onto the computer. They are only listed so you can see what will soon be available for you to read
Those items at the bottom of the Topic List which are not underlined will be activated as I have time.
So come back again to read the new articles as they are encoded onto the computer. It takes time to
get it all done.
This page was initiated on May 1, 1997. More items are being added almost every day. So keep checking back until you find what you want, or e-mail us your question or other request. Thank you. Graduating seniors are getting ready to leave home and go out into the world.
You will be facing new and different situations, some of which you are prepared for, and some you will have to figure out as you go. The more you study and know now before you leave home, the less chinks in the armour.
If you already know everything you need to know, then you prove to yourself that you don't know as you should. Learn that message from God. Put your trust in Him and not in yourself. You do not yet see Him as He sees you. For now we see as through a glass darkly, but then face to face. The then time when we shall see Him face to face and know Him as He knows us is after we have received our resurrection body.
His grace is sufficient. True. But we should not be presumptuous. Presumptuous sin is still a sin.
Presumption does not take the place of faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
Many students fall on the rocks of life as they sail their good ship out of home port. Some lives are hurt badly within the first year after leaving home. Eighty percent of those who went to church while at home, quit after leaving home. Many have great problems with the love of their life, sweetheart or fiancee or money, trying to stay on course to get where they want to go. They make wrong decisions in the pressure of
the moment and because they did not know enough scripture for guidance.
A topical menu is listed after this brief introduction.
To avoid snares and not be deceived, you need to understand the deceit of humanism. Failure to understand the deceits of humanism causes many to fall into confusion and eventually stumble into many problems that aren't necessary. See the articles on Patrick Henry, John Dewey, and Humanism. To find good role models, take a look at our Christian heritage in America.
Students who know these things have an easier time in life than those who are ignorant and by their ignorance of these things fall into many snares and hurts. I don't want to see you get hurt. I want to see you have good success and prosper in your all you do. God bless you as you read.

By selecting on the subject index below you can see a menu of short tracts written for college campuses. They cover typical questions and problems that face students after leaving home to live on their own.
Subject Index to College Student Tracts
Interested people at different campuses can make these tracts available to students.
There is no copyright. It is to help the students. E-mail a note to me if you are interested in helping to reach students at your school. A Farmers' Workbook is available for those who want to plant good seed and cultivate the field. The tracts are available in a printed notebook for copy and distribution around campus at strategic dorm rooms, libraries, stores, churches, and any place else you can place them.
The whole notebook or a page at a time can be given to a student.

Included in all the right choices you made were the choices to do right things and the choices to avoid harmful things. You were wise enough to avoid making some wrong decisions. There were many open doors you could have gone down that you chose not to walk. You avoided many evil possibilities. You averted potential disaster.
You sidestepped many pitfalls, and kept free from many snares. Yes, dear student, your success dependended not only on chosing the good but also on rejecting the evil.
Isaiah 7:15 gives us that strong hint of how it takes two wings for the eagle to fly, it takes a polarity of understanding to make it through life successfully. You can continue to grow in chosing what is right and rejecting the evil.
Accidents and deceptions have happened to many. Even many good and sincere who appeared to be doing so well have sometimes been hit severely and unexpectedly by hurtful events. The race is not to the swift or the strong, but to those to whom God shows grace and mercy.
Read Romans 1 and 2 and give the glory to God that is due Him. Let your faith and confidence be in God and not in yourself. Thus you will find happiness more and more.

I know you care or you wouldn't even be reading this. Many of you have a sense of still looking for some foundational answers that you know you can trust. Something that doesn't change with each new situation in life.
That answer is Jesus Christ. He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. And He teaches us how we shall live. Deuteronomy 8:3 and Matthew 4:4 tells us how to live and not get trapped: " Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."
So if anyone acknowledge that Jesus is the answer, then let him also acknowledge that the way to follow Him is to do what He says. After all He clearly says, "If you love Me, do what I say."
He says, "Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand the fiery darts of the enemy.
(See Ephesians 6:11-19)
Yes, you are going out into the world. And you will have many wonderful times. But from time to time there will be hard decisions to make, choices of what to do, right and wrong, life and death.
To have good faith and a clear conscience that you will not be hurt, the Bible is the one book to know.
Consider how many other books you've studied from cover to cover. You could fill a library with the books you've mastered. Now is the time to treasure up the best book of all into your heart. Then you will see and know and consider and understand (Isaiah 41:20) the things of life by the faith of God.
Jesus said, "...in the world you shall have tribulation, but fear not, for I have overcome the world." Knowing His way so we can follow Him, that is our armor against all the snares, pitfalls and fiery arrows of the enemy.
Even people who believe in God (as I did when I left high school) can be snared by the pressures of collegiate decisions ( as I was). How do I know this is true according to God's word? Because it is written, "My people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge."
We can believe in God and be one of His, but still not know to have on the armor we need for some particular situation that may confront us. That's where the fiery darts of the enemy can attack, in the place where we were ignorant or presumed on the grace of God.
Jesus Christ is our sufficiency, yes, true; and He is also the Captain of our faith, the leader of our soul. And He commands us to follow Him. He said, If you continue in My word, then are ye my disciples indeed." So let us continue in His word and see how it helps us in the world today. He has promised us victory in the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Since the faith He wants us to have is the faith that comes of God, and not some imagination of our own, let us go on to study and show ourselves approved unto God even before we go on to college or marriage or career. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Until then we know in part.
It's almost like minnows leaving the safety of home port to go into the big ocean where catfish and sharks lurk to lead them astray. College environments are often ripe with temptation for agnosticism, atheism, or some other spirit worship, psychic readings, rational atheism, relative values evolution, and many other seducing spirits.
Why is this here, you ask? Because Jesus said, "...in the world you shall have tribulation, but fear not for I have overcome the world." And in another place the word of God says, "And this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith."
So you will have good faith of God, you need to know the truth of God.
The truth of God from scripture and the truth of God from the things He has created are opened to you here. See the Creation Science reference and the Bible Study Menu.

This tract gives faith that there is a victory for you. You receive it by the faith of God through Jesus Christ.
All things, even all the details of your life, down to the very last hair on your head, have been reconciled unto God through Jesus and His shed blood at the cross. Put your faith in God for the victory in life.
God's truth for common situations in the life of college students. This is a collection of short writings. It deals with questions asked a lot during the freshman year at college. These tracts can be read on screen through the net. Feel free to download it and read at your leisure or distribute to a friend.
Even Einstein held firmly to the notion that a Creator had to be the first cause of our universe. Show the information to students, teachers, parents, and pastors.
Why is Creation Science important information for children and pastors and teachers?
Just read this brief synopsis on the Effects of Evolutionism: We didn't evolve out of chaos, from the ooze of the ocean or apes or reptiles, but the evolutionist say so.
When children and teachers believe this it sets people up to also believe in evolutionary law as taught in the last fifty years. The evolutionists also use the theory of evolution to reinforce their idea of Evolutionary Law. By an interpretation of evolving law, evolutionists deny the validity of Absolute Law. Evolution is used to explain the need for changing standards in society. This is connected to the recent reinterpration of our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. "Since man evolved from the slime, there is no Creator God, and therefore no absolutes. Since man evolved upward, there was not a fall of man, but indeed an ascent of man, and therefore no need for a Savior to redeem us from Original Sin. No need for the Ten Commandments, just figure out what seems good by popular vote, and let the evolving people decide their evolving values. Since people evolve, therefore their values and laws must also evolve to fit the changing people. " So say the evolutionists. You can see these ideas in the writing of John Dewey, some legal 'experts', much social writing, and on this home page under the menu item of Humanism and Evolution.
When children are bombarded with evolution reinforcements from pre-school on, it is easier to lead them into believing relative value systems after they get to college.
Why? Because relatrive values fit the theory of evolving values, and that is part of a strategy to destroy children's faith in God. This strategy is recorded in the Humanist Manifesto I, II, and III of 1933, 1973, and 1990. It is having a big effect on kids!
Recognize the scriptures warning against paying heed to 'endless geneologies'. Evolution is a false listing of 'endless geneologies'. Pay no heed to such things. There is a wealth of hard facts supporting the creation view of this world in which we live. Take time to read it. You will be amazed!
There is a wonderful selection of books and videos suitable for pre-school through high school in the selection marked KID's CORNER at that site. http://members.aol.com/dwr51055/Creation.html

Summary Outline:
Jesus said, when someone called Him good, "...only one is good." He was referring to a foundational Bible truth that God is good, and all good things come from Him. For example it is not 'good' in the Bible meaning to get something you want if that something causes your eternal soul to be in hell. This and many other subtle meanings have been so mixed and confused in today's language that people are confused on many issues without even knowing.
Now we get back to the theme of a progressive mixture of ideas from different source stories involving Jesus, the good samaritan, humanitarianism, humanism, and atheism. These words have been mixed so much by people who do not keep the Bible teaching of "holding fast the form of sound words" and "not mixing the seed", that much of the Christians' problems today are caused by their own joining together with humanist-atheist funds to accomplish atheist building projects in the name of humanism which Christians associate with the good samaritan.
Atheists like to gain acceptability from Christians by masking their identity under the word Humanism and sliding over to a word spelled Humanitarianism which is so strongly identified with the good samaritan. Thusly, the Christian money is used world wide to increase the atheistic foundations of community projects.
Atheists have written in national publications of theirs that the big advantage of the Christian church is its support for private individuals in time of need. The close association of people helping people in the name of Jesus. Well, now the atheists are using humanitarian ideals to get Christian dollars to build up organizations that do their deeds without the name of Jesus. So you can see my point. Christians are defeating themselves by joing together with atheists in doing works they think are for God but the atheists are using the works to strengthen their own management of affairs independent of the name Jesus.
John Dewey, the father of modern education was a man who signed his name to documents stating a goal to do away with the church and replace it with enlightened humanism of higer order thinking which denies God. Very few people know or understand this. See the article on John Dewey.
Consider this progression of ideas and words:

Jesus said, Seek not to lay up for yourselves treasure on earth where moth and rust do consume and thieves break in to steal, but rather lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven where it is yours forever. There is the eternal value. Whosoever will hear the will of God and believe to do it, that person by each work of faith in love towards God is laying up treasure in heaven. Jesus said, In as much as you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto Me. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. If any man would come unto God, He must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

What we today call 'psychics' were called fortune tellers in the days of the apostle Peter and even before then.
They have existed since the days of ancient Egypt and Babylon. Such people have a familiar spirit the likes of which you can read about in the book of Acts and other places in holy scripture.
There are many references to familiar spirits in scripture. They will be listed here as I have resources to expand this article. But for now I tell you they can be found in a Strong's Concordance under the word 'familiar'.
Some people today do not believe such things even exist. They are contradicting the word of God. Therefore they are wrong in what they believe. Familiar spirits exist. They were originally created by God. That does not make them good. God created some things to show what evil is. The familiar spirits were originally created as angels. They are of that group who sided with Lucifer, the Morning Star, as he was named. Lucifer chose to try and take the place of God. Lucifer led a rebellion against God. Lucifer and the angels that followed him lost. Those fallen angels are what we now call familiar spirits or demon spirits. The term demonic means messed up. The demons are 'messed up' angels who no longer have the capability to do good. They can only do evil. Everything they do is for an evil purpose.
There are people who claim to be psychics and are not; but there are people with a familiar spirit. Such people can pass along what the familiar spirit tells them. Some are aware they get their information from another spirit, and most think it is themselves doing it.
Familiar spirits impart the information to lead people astray from God. It's like bait to lead a fish to a hook. Read the classic stories about men being given some cooperation in reaching their desires at first, only later to be destroyed by the same spirit that led them away from God. Yes, psychics can sometimes tell a person things of past events that no one else would know. Sometimes they can give pertinent information to convince a soul to keep on following them. But the end of that path is failure, destruction, and death and then hell. Psychics may sometimes seem convincing, but do not follow them. Do not go to them. Do not listen to them. Do not expose your ears to temptation to go to them. If you play around fire, eventually you may fall into it. Stary away from the psychics. They lead a soul to hell. If you want help for your life. Go to God. He knows it all. He always gives good help that leads to life everlasting. He will not fail you.
