Building the right walls for your childThe idea of walls is another basic, ie foundational, thought from scripture. We have walls to keep out the rain, the wolves, and the thieves.
Walls can be very very helpful to accomplishing what we desire.
Protecting Your Children See Isaiah 7:15 Jesus was raised up on butter and honey, that He would learn to accept the good and reject the evil.
Doesn't your child need to be raised the same?
Walls can be a wonderful thing. You have walls on your home to protect you from the elements and thieves.
Children need to develop walls if they are to guard their thoughts from trash, and foolishness, and rebellion.
Scripture teaches us God is the walls of our Salvation. Walls to protect us. Let your child build some walls in his mind. Walls to the mind are like bones to the body, they give structure and form. A certain strength comes with bones in the body and walls in the mind. A strength to carry what you want, and a strength to think based upon pure thoughts instead of trash. Do you want your child letting every suggested thought become acceptable to his way of thinking? Then give him or her what is necessary for godly faith. Pick up your Bible, read it, and let faith be present to give a story to your child. Stories with a virtue. See to it that good books are available for your child to read. Reject the books that consume time with nonsense, foolishness, witchcraft, sorcery, rebellion, and other such things as are not helpful to good growth of mind. There are only so many days to your child's growing time. With what will they be filled? To be put on the mailing list for children's good thinking food, Click here if you want more on this concept.
