Helping Your Children
Your children are best helped when you obey the Lord.
When God sees you submit to His authority to obey, then the mercy of obedience flows through you to your children.
What are some things God gives you to do?
Place scripture posters around your home, on the walls, over the doors, that are readable.
Read the scriptures at the meal table.
Pray
Pray together.
Keep fellowship with others who believe and seek to serve God.
Study and use the information presented in places like:

- Praise is like honey to the soul. Praise your children.
- Seek out strong Christian fellowship for your children and pray for you all to find the strength you need.

- Set aside time to help your children truly learn scripture.
- Get some good music for the home and play it. Cut off the trash.
- Avoid tv. Take time from tv and give it to scripture.
- Take walks with your children and talk with them while walking.
- Spend some time out under the stars with your children. Roast marshmellows under the stars.
- Get to nature any way you can. God created the trees and the forests.
- Take time to be still. It is written, Be still and know God.
- Pray for peace in your soul.
- Trust the Lord to lead and direct you.
- Pray the Lord's prayer with your children. Amplify upon it when it seems good.
- Know that He is with you. He will never fail you.
