We must put first things first, lest the children be deceived by superficial or false information. The men who were wise in early American history knew the supreme importance of scripture as the only good basis for training up children. The early colleges all required scripture knowledge for entrance.

Students of every age should be taught to understand the world in which they live.
By the light of Christ they can know truth and avoid confusion and deception.
This requires Christian teachers to present:

• Humanism as a force combating Christianity.
• Truth of CreationEvolution as a deception contradicting Creation.
• History of changes in the world from a Christian view.

Public schools fail to give students these understandings. Therefore I say, "Schools fail!"
Humanism is the force behind the biggest changes in America during the last hundred years. Schools fail to teach this. Schools omit teaching about the biggest conflict in the nation. Why? Because the schools are dominated by humanistic philosophies.

Humanism serves itself best by not making students aware of the conflict, and surely not telling the parents. This site, Christian Parents Information Network, exists to inform parents and students of the battle raging in our classrooms today for the hearts and minds of children from pre-school through graduation. Parents take heed. Your children depend on you for guidance. The world is much more tricky in its treachery today than it was yesterday. Jesus taught much on the need to not be deceived. But deception and destruction are on the increase because people will not pay the price required for truth.

The width and breadth of teaching on these subjects, as listed above, should increase as the student grows.
Schools should teach the truth.
Truth should be rightly divided and taught in proportion to its significance.
Remember the old slide rule and how students learned to appreciate significant digits.
Truth is weighted in its parts. It must be presented in proportion to its significance. Applying this method to the explosion of knowledge would bring us back to the root of knowledge and place the myriad details in true perspective so students wouldn't get lost in a sea of facts.

When students see the truth, the whole truth, they can be free from deception.
Rightly divided, according to mathematics, means that you keep the hundreds, tens, and ones numbers in their proper order. You give classroom time proportional to the significance of events.
A rightly divided curriculum would restore these most significant truths to our students so they can understand what's happening in America. Thousands of American parents want to see three significant understandings taught to students. It is easy to add these three studies to our public school curriculum. Just copy some basic information and hand it out in the classrooms or distribute it off campus if necessary.

THREE UNDERSTANDINGS TO BE TAUGHT
1. Humanism as a cultural force differentiated from Christianity.
2. Creation Science, not just theories of evolution.
3. American history without omitting and without denying Christian roots.

1. Teach the background and events of the Biggest Cultural Change in America . Students have a right to know the truth about Humanism and its declared war to change the beliefs and values of children from Christian to Atheist. See John Dewey, Father of Modern Education and his writings that impacted the N.E.A. Curriculum presently calls for teaching those things which have changed, but omits reference to Humanistic values replacing Christian values. Changes from Absolute Law to Evolutionary Law should be explained to students if they are to know where America came from and where we are now. The Bible, prayer, and the Ten Commandments were removed from school by a growing force called humanism or secular pluralism. Students have a right to be taught about that force and its declared zeal to destroy Christianity.

2. Add the title Creation Science to the list of information given to students. Current curriculum is 99% biased to theories of evolution. There are tens of thousands of scientists who favor creation science. Put those books into the school classrooms and libraries so students can see a fair presentation by both sides.

3. Restore the study of Christian Roots of America to students. A rightly divided presentation of history, using true weights and a true balance, shows our Christian heritage. Todays curriculum omits and distorts American history to students. How many teachers know that Patrick Henry was a Christian? Many falsely teach students that he was a deist. 95 percent of our founding fathers laid claim to the Christian faith, but schools fail to teach this. Students graduate without even understanding the references to God in our Declaration of Independence or ever reading many of the devout Christian letters and documents of our founding fathers. This omission and distortion is a result of humanistic power guiding the educational system.

The goal of training up children is to give them victory and good success.
The failure of our current ways to accomplish that goal is evidenced by many things.

Evidences of failure by the public education system includes but is not limited to:

• "Seven in 10 American business executives believe the nation's public educational system is incapable of providing them with a sufficient pool of well-educated potential employes." This was printed by the Scripts Howard News Service in Wichita Falls Times Record News May 6, 1997.
• U.S. students scored in 17th place in science for the Third International Math and Science Study.
• U.S. students came in 28th place for math, trailing Slovakia and Bulgaria.
• Too many students can't read or spell or even do arithmetic to give change at a clerk's job.
• Reading and math abilities have fallen way behind what they were 40 years ago.
• Reports from inside the education system continue to say how excellent the system is. Even refering to a 'manufactured crisis' as though the problems stated were untrue. So long as parents remain ignorant and think the system is working right, then the educrats are safe from parent intervention.

What can you do as a parent to help the children?

• Wake up to see the problem as shown by national and local evidences.
• Study to show yourself approved, rightly dividing the issues.
• Seek to exercise your God given responsibility over the training up of your children.
• Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together as a group of parents who look to be fulfill their responsibility by the grace of God. "United we stand, but divided we fall" as our founding fathers put it.
• Give your child the truth of American history complete with Christian roots of our founding fathers.
• Give your child the science books that support creation by God.
• Give your child the big picture of the opposing forces, humanism and Christianity, so he can understand current events in the light of Christ.
• In short, much good has been omitted, cut out of the American education system during the last fifty years. Parents need to restore those truths to children, students, and the school.

Definition: The right way to train up children is God's way.

Most of us are in this school system. It is a federal-state-region-district-local school. It is run, not by the parents but from the top.
The administrators say the parents are not involved in the education of their children. Such statements are declared at every level of the school system from local to Washington D.C.

You as a parent can be involved enough to learn what you can, and exercise your responsibility over the education of your own children. The answer involves one parent at a time getting back into their role of authority and decision making over the training up of their own children.

Without knowledge, even the people are destroyed.

I seek to help the children by restoring certain truths to their education which have been systematically cut out during the last fifty to a hundred and fifty years.

In these days, knowledge abounds. Kids are getting lost in all the digitized (ie isolated) information. They need the big picture of truth so they won't get lost in the leaves of some man made tree of knowledge.

They must be taught to see the seed and get to the root of things. Peripherial information must be secondary to the primary source, else the kids will not be able to find their way through all the maze of data being thrown at them. When students can see the due order of things, putting first things first in their understanding, then they can follow the pattern of Christ and not get lost in a maze of the world. But where there is no order, there is confusion and defeat. When the students' time is filled up with perpheral knowledge of countlesss leaves of knowledge, all he can know is that there is a bunch of leaves of knowledge. It can be overwhelming, unless they are shown the pattern of the seed, root, trunk, branches, and then leaves so they can get to the root of the matter. The order and harmony of truth is not being taught in schools today. Chaos is being taught as the source of good things. Evolution leads children to believe that man evolved out of chaos. Whole courses glorifying the idea Chaos have been taught to some of our best students at Barwise. Elementary school reading books refer to a teacher of the class of chaos. Parents, we used to teach children to see the beauty and the pattern and harmony of the universe. What do you want for your children?

• Parents, prove all things, especially those who desire to teach your children in your place.
• Do not presume that everything from a teacher certified by the state is good for your child.
• Study the word of God. Honor His word in your heart to show your self approved unto God to do things His way.
• Let those who desire to be teachers of your children first be proved.

Four verses of scripture that mold the context and purpose of this site are: John 3:14, 16 and First Timmothy 4:8 and Colossians 1:20

John 3:14 shows the need to recognize the problem. Recognize the serpent that is biting us and our children. Recognition of the problem and repentance from that sin is a necessary first step to attain Salvation. Jesus said, Except you repent you shall surely perish, and in another place, Except you repent you cannot enter into the kingdom. This also applies to say that unless we repent of ignorance we cannot gain the victory. This site explains many things that parents must overcome as they seek to train up their children in a godly manner.

John 3:16 is used to say there is a solution in Christ for every family situation. Everyone who believes in Jesus shall not perish but be saved. Each parent and child can find the answer, but we must wake up to the problem.

1 Timothy 4:8 offers us hope for the help of God now in this lifetime for us and our children. He is involved in things now, even on earth, just as our Declaration of Independence and Constitution say He is. Some people wrongly think that the only effect of God is for after someone dies, but this scripture needs being taught to every student before he or she leaves home.

Colossians 1:20 says He has reconciled all things to Himself through Jesus Christ at the cross. This scripture tells me that all things were included in that reconciliation at the cross. Even this thing of our school situation was included. So there is a way in Christ for each believer to see the truth of Romans 8:28.

Many answers are given in these pages. The answer must be applied by each individual parent to reap the fruit of truth for their family.
You can see a clear picture of opposing forces working to train up children the way they want. What is the force opposing a Christian education? It is comonly called an enlightened humanistic viewpoint. What the humanists and the atheists want is very different from what Christian parents want. .
To discover the answer for any problem requires first that the problem be seen and recognized. A major goal of this page is to help parents give their children a godly education.
Why do I believe help is necessary? Because many parents have not been shown the snakes that are biting children today. The snake that deceived Eve didn't come with a sign that said he was trying to hurt her. That snake put on a mask of trying to help her. That snake rationalized to deny the truth of God. Parents need to become informed about major cultural changes happening in our public schools. Those changes are tending more and more towards ' an enlightened humanistic viewpoint'.
The U.S. Dept. of Education has many documents on file which use the phrase "...an enlightened humanistic viewpoint...". It is also a favorite of those humanists who want to do away with Christian faith. Why? Because it masks the atheistic source of the ideas.

What significance is this? Great men that founded this nation believed the Bible to be the only foundation for a good education and understanding of life. Princeton, Harvard, and Yale were originally Bible based places of learning.

• 1. Show their own children the truth of America's godly Christian heritage. True history of America will give strength of understanding to your children and encourage their faith towards God. Talk about role models for your children! The faith of the men who made this nation great is a strong reinforcement to children, if you can get the message to them. • 2. Show the documents outlining the humanistic plan to change children through schools.
  
• 3. Show enough material so parents and children can see the differences between Christianity and Humanism. Explain the subtle poisons of humanism that act like arsenic on the minds of children.

• 5. Teach the scripture to your children like the Bible says.
• 6. Parents train up your children. Don't leave it up to the teachers. It can be ok to hire a teacher to explain reading writing and arithmetic, but don't leave the issues of life to be taught by hired teachers.

Humanism is the new religion that says it is not a religion but a way of thinking. Biblically we could call it philosophies of men or we could call it doctrines of devils. Step by step, many forces are working toward their goals of changing the way children think, while Christian parents sleep and for the most part are unaware.

God has exalted His word above all His name. He keeps, protects, preserves and fulfills His word...thus His Name.

His word endures to all generations. He has protected His word for all generations to be able to know the truth.

Every word of God is pure, refined seven times. There is not one wasted word. There is no impurity in His word. His word is sure. Preserved (against all the ravages of men and time) to all generations.

His covenant with us is ordered in all things.

He has instructed us to study to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the word of God that we need not be ashamed. Let us therefore divide it rightly, putting things in order with first things first.

Consider how a chemistry experiment would turn if you did the last reaction first. Would your cake turn out right if it were baked and then the eggs and milk were added?

Consider how a trip would work if you tried to put the cart before the horse.

Would the pilot get his plane off the ground if he didn't know to set the flaps?

How is it then that any would not rightly prioritize God's holy living word? Jesus plainly stated there are things in the word more weighty than others. And we should all know God loves a right balance when we weigh the importance, the priority of things. So then we proceed to build our lives on the rightly divided word of God.

For the word of God is alive and powerful, discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart, sharper than any two edged sword...

The word of God is spirit and truth. Jesus said, The words I say unto you, they are spirit and life. John 6:63

The founding fathers of this nation honored God. Today we must return to the first love. The love of the world and all that is of the world is enmity with God. Man cannot serve two masters. All that love the world cannot serve God. For no one can hold on to the world and open his life to understand the will of Eternal Father.

That word which God has protected from generation to generation and His Son Jesus Christ who is revealed by the Spirit of God... is our foundation.
