What do you think Jesus meant when He said, "Blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."? I think he was referring to those poor of the type who are the true poor, and most commonly very wonderful people individually. Apt to offer food, and enduring much discomfort without railing against things. Think of the poor in India who live simple lives. They are included in what I consider as the group of whom Jesus spoke. They know nothing except their daily hardships and deprivation and toils and their simple pleasures of family. Yes, taking Jesus at His word, they will be in heaven. The simple poor of all nations will be in heaven. Those who have turned to other things for their relief, thievery, dope-selling, unclean things for false comfort, they are not the simple poor, but rather they are the poor who turned to corruption for their deliverance. They become called not poor but instead they are called thieves, murderers, gang-leaders, just as the idolatrous rich are called lovers of the things of this present world more than the things of God.

There is a difference, a huge difference, between being called and being chosen. 1 Cor 6:9 Consider a grandfather at a family reunion in the summer time. Grandfather is under the shade tree, the lemonade is on the tables with food and pastries. The ladies are standing with their husbands watching children play baseball and chase out in the field. Grandfather calls his first born to him and says, "Call all the children over, I have things to say for them." The first born calls out and stops all the games with an invitation for everyone to come under the shade tree so they can hear what grandfather has to say. Some come, and some hear the announcement but decide their current activity is what they want to do. So some keep on playing "catch" even while others are walking over to the tree. Who do you think made it into the will? 1 Cor 6:9 is a worthy scripture to quit ignoring. And the leaders know the foundations are not being taught; they excuse it by saying there's so much "new stuff" we have to teach.

In the last few days all those things have come across my computer screen. I've got to stop reading any new things about what's happening to our kids. It makes me angry. Remember the days when men got angry. They're trying to condition it out of America now with Tuby-Tubby cartoons for kids and feminine male role models for kids on tv. And the men who do have enough to get angry, well, appears they're being outnumbered by the pacifists.
If all this doesn't make you want to do something, what will?

Nov 23, 07 Today people speak of our government as a democracy. They teach the masses to tolerate all views and compromise with them.
It is said by too many that men who lay with men and men who promote girls going wild are to be tolerated and accepted. The Founding Fathers would not agree. They gave us a republican form of government (See the Constitution) and declared this nation dependent upon God for its protection. (see the Declaration of Independence).
Noah Webster explained the phrase "republican form of government" meant having an established body of law beginning with God's laws, and through a democratic process of voting allow the people to elect whomsover they chose to be in government positions of power to exercise those laws. Also through the voting in the congress and general elections other laws could be added, but only those laws which conformed to the original laws.

Only a Constitutional ammendment could change the original laws. It was clearly recognized, the people as a whole had a common value system rooted in the Judaeo Christian tradition.

The energy to do this work was just not there. Frustrations over slow internet dial-up connections, out of date computer, the better software necessary to this internet ministry, and other things have accumulated to nearly derail this train of ministry. The website is here, but needs help to be maintained, and to sort through all the spam mail so the sincere mail to larry@christianparents.com can be answered. This began in 97. Built up to one of the top visited sites in the world for a season it was number 243,243 of all the millions of sites in all the world. Then was hacked into. Other kinds of problems caused loss of connection between some of the over 600 pages which at one time were posted here. And I had not the strength to rebuild it all. Your prayers are invited. There is much to say on the raising and training and teaching of children, on how American believers must repent from dead works (see Hebrews 6) and what America is facing today as a nation and as individual families. With over 300 active pages still linked at this site, we see stats of up 10,000 to 20,000 readers per month, from all around the world, even military and government, business and just plain civilians of all walks of life. 3. Government is cutting America away from its roots.
4. The Government School System, only 50 years old, has cut out the good and replaced it with .....new-think. The Constitution did not give the Federal Government power to run our schools. That was left to the people and the states.

And now, those things are either manifest or not, according to faith. Something like that.

We now have seen the manifestation of a strong emotional justification for police/troops to protect American's from Terrorists on our street corners and in our businesses. Go back and read the Declaration of Independence. About British troops stationed on our land. The abuses. The taxes to support those troops. The martial law, politely called Protection. When the Mafia did it, we called it extortion. When the U.N. will do it, we will also pay their expenses as we did for the British troops.

Here's the senario. We try to protect the U.S. with our own anti-terrorist troops and police and special units.
They eventually have to extend their reach overseas to fulfill their mission. Overseas, it becomes a U.N. movement.
Thus, the natural backlash is to treat all nations the same and therefore put U.N. troops on American soil, just as Americans on other countries soil guarding against Terrorists. Quite Simply Done.
Protection from Terrorists is necessary. The direction it takes us in police state, loss of liberty, intrusion by government ... is just another step towards what the Bible says is coming. We can't avoid the future. World government is arriving. It was announced in the New York Times and in many local papers, Sept. of 2000, about the U.N. plans for World Government and their meeting to announce those plans to the world. Yes, that much has already happened. Few paid notice. It was on the front page of my paper the Wichita Falls Times and Record News. Not one person I asked had noticed the strong phrases buried in the text of that headline article. Phrases like world government and the U.N. responsibility to protect your children. And, yes, they do have a plan for world education as well as a plan for the world financial system and the world army to support the world government so they can take care of you and me and keep the peace. You know, peace-keeping. That's what they want to do. Their peace, under their law, where the absolute statements of Christ are contrary to their stated law for world government.
