page 105 "The hand of Providence (the hand of God) has been so conspicuous in all this (the forming of America) that he must be worse than an infidel that lacks faith, and more than wicked, that has not gratitude enough to acknowledge his obligations. (to God and country)" Commander-in-Chief George Washington to General Thomas Nelson, 1778
p 109 ...The peace treaty between Britain and America after the War for Independence showed a lot about those who fought the war. It said, 'In the name of the most holy and undivided Trinity...' It was signed by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay on September 8, 1783. Let the students hear the words of those men instead of the twisted opinions of those who deny the very truth of our Founding Fathers faith. I want to give a seminar using what the schools call Critical Thinking Skills and apply that technique to the revisionist teaching of American history. Who will give me the opportunity to reach students with that lesson?
p 107, 108 Twenty thousand Bibles printed by Congress and given Congressional endorsement within its cover: "Whereupon, resolved, that the United States in Congress assembled...recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States, " p 162,163,164,165 See the original words of our Founding Fathers on the supreme value of the Bible and religion in school and government, and life.
Dying Men's Words: Quotes from their last will and testament refutes modern claims that they were mostly atheists. Their words show strong faith in Jesus Christ as Eternal Savior. . p 134-138
Christian Organizations of the Founding Fathers: p 139, 140, 141, 142, 143 refuting claims that the founders were mostly deists by showing their affiliation with Christian organizations.
p 144 Thomas Jefferson writes to Charles Thompson, January 9, 1816 "I am a real Christian, that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus."
p 144, 145 Alexander Hamilton, "The attempt by the rulers of a nation (France) to destroy all religious opinion and to pervert a whole people to atheism is a phenomenon of profligacy (act of moral depravity) ... To establish atheism on the ruins of Christianity is to deprive mankind of its best consolations and most animating hopes and to make a gloomy desert of the universe.

p 80,81 Their Belief in the Inseparability of Christianity from Teaching:
Motto's of Harvard used to be: "For the Glory of Christ" and "For Christ and the Church"
The "Old Deluder Satan Law" passed in Massachusetts in 1642 and in Connecticut in 1647 so people would be taught to read so they could read the Bible and have a more abundant life.
p 40, 41 The same Congress that framed the religion clause of the First Amendment showed what it meant by the simultaneous passage of the Northwest Ordinance wherein they coupled religion and schools. They expected religion to be forever taught and encouraged in the schools.
p 5, From the Foreword of the book, Original Intent:
"Hearsay evidence is not allowed in a court of law;" Why is it allowed to replace and contradict the words of our Founders?
I want every student to be told how George Washington himself refutes a library book titled Washington and Religion. The new book emphatically denies the Christian faith which Washington firmly expressed. The book appears quite impressive, formally written, and authoritative. What student would know otherwise? It stands out boldly on the library shelf to declare its own opinion contrary to the clear words of George Washington himself. What cafeteria cook would be kept on who allowed rat poison to be offered on the same level as meat and potatoes? Isn't the cook responsible for keeping the food clean and clearly marking the poisons kept around the house?
p 343, Governor Morris, Penman and Signer of the Constitution, warned, "The most important of all lessons is the denunciation of ruin to every state that rejects the precepts of religion." Where are we?
All laws, however, may be arranged in two different classes. 1) Divine. 2) Human...But it should always be remembered that this law, natural or revealed, made for men or for nations, flows from the same Divine source: it is the law of God...Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is Divine. James Wilson, Signer of the Constitution, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice. The law...dictated by God Himself is, of course, superior in obligation to any other. It is binding over all the globe, in all countries, and at all times. No human laws are of any validity if contrary to this. Alexander Hamilton, Signer of the Constitution. p 337
America's immutable principles of right and wrong were not based on the rapidly fluctuating feelings and emotions of the people but rather on what Montesquieu identified as the "principles that do not change." Benjamin Rush similarly observed: p 336 Where there is no law, there is no liberty; and nothing deserves the name of law but that which is certain and universal in its operation upon all the members of the community.
John Adams on being a statesman rather than a politician:
"Such compliances (compromises)...of my honor, my conscience, my friends, my country, my God, as the Scriptures informs us must be punished with nothing less than hell-fire, eternal torment; and this is so unequal a price to pay for the honors and emoluments (profits from government)...that I cannot prevail upon myself to think of it (compromise). The duration of future punishment terrifies me. If I could but deceive myself so far as to think eternity a moment only, I could comply and be promoted. p 333,
The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained. Inaugural Address, President George Washington
Benjamin Franklin: And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? Or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance?...Without His concurring aid...we ourselves shall become a reproach and a byword down to future ages.
Thomas Jefferson similarly cautioned: "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." p 334
Noah Webster: Our citizens should early understand that the genuine source of correct republican principles is the Bible,...particularly the New Testament, or the Christian religion. p 336 The education of youth should be watched with the most scrupulous attention. The education of youth lays the foundations on which both law and gospel rest. p 340
New Constitutionality: It is constitutional for congressional chaplains to pray(Marsh v Chambers, 1983) but unconstitutional for students to read those prayers ( State Board of Education v Board of Education of Netcong, 1970) This chapter shows new laws being based on the personal opinion of the judges. p 233-239
Consider the godly faith declared in our Declaration of Independence and the connections of it to the Consititution. David Barton was the first man to point these things out to me, and I believe what he explained about the faith towards God in our foundational government documents. I never learned it in public school. I was taught derogatory things about those men by my history teacher. The school system did not make available to me the truth of those men. Such truth should be restored to the children in every school in America. By the help of God, it shall be made available. The internet provides a low cost way of duplicating these truths for every student and parent and teacher and school board member and state and federal government official. If our Declaration of Independence declares our dependence on God to maintain those blessings of liberty, how can it be un-American for us to declare our dependence on the help of God? It is certainly not un-American to quote the Founding Fathers. It may not have been done for a long time, but it is time to begin again telling our children what they said about this country. Let each child have an exposure to the strong words of those men who risked life and fortune for what they believed to be right. Though contemporary psychology has conditioned many to ridicule an appeal to God, still it is true that in many fox-holes of war, there is prayer to God for life. Life and death is what we are talking about. The eternal life will be spent by each child either with God or without. It is to this question of where eternity will be spent that the issue of teaching children ultimately must face. What do you believe? As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord by making available to the children such true stories of America's godly heritage as will give them a chance to choose for themselves whether they will seek God or not, whether they will read any further on their own or not. But to have the choice, the stories must be told. Who will help me tell the stories to the children of America's godly heritage? Vote Larry Aubrey Rice for Trustee at Large, School Board, Saturday, May 2nd, and get five others to vote with you. We will present these materials to the students through the internet, through local libraries, and through such privately funded publcations as is necessary.
The Bible says that a people are destroyed for their lack of knowledge. This applies to our children. It applies to the parents. There are many things concerning the teaching of children which parents need to be reminded. I heard a song Who Will Teach Our Children's Children, and it seemed like such a strong question that I give the question to you? Do you remember these words from our Constitution? In order to preserve the blessings of liberty to ourselves and to our posterity.... from the Preamble to the Constitution of the United States of America.
The Issues I Want to Bring to the Attention of the Parents and Students Include:
1. Narrative history of America with original words of the Founding Fathers used in context of the story.
2. Parent Communication Network:
Parent freedom of choice for what their own children will learn. What choice is there if the parent is uninformed of the consequences or the available options? Method and content of instruction are vitally important to parents. Many options exist. Parents have rights endowed by their Creator to know those options and the consequences of those choices.
A right government exists only by the consent of the governed. Consent exists only when the parent knows the whole story and agrees to it.
Examples of important choices available to parents in method and content of teaching:
Whose version of history do you want established in your child?
Do you want your child reading nonsense books, goosebump stories, delinquency books? Or would you prefer books with life giving substance to them for your child to read? Would you like to be able to assign your teacher to direct the choices of your child from the library to a range of books you approve?
You are the parent. It is not censorship for parents to direct the learning of their children.
Without an effective way to express disagreement, any consent is a rubber stamp. Approval that was manipulated by the withholding of information is evidence of a system that is dominating the people instead of responding to the people. When the government leads the people, the people are in harness to the government.
3. Parent communication network.
so parents can know what other parents are saying.
so parents can know when they have an agreement on an issue.
to have a communication ability that is unhampered by employees of the system.
As this Parent Communication Network takes shape, it will encourage and strengthen elected school board members and teachers to serve the parents more than the state-federal-school system. Elected representatives of the people should be often hearing from the people and working to implement the desires of parents. The focus of elected representatives must be on the people who elected them. School board members should spend more time trying to inform and please parents for the good of the children and less time seeking to comply with federal, state, and local statistics. Let the parents be the ones to whom the elected representatives look for approval instead of the state and federal heirarchy.
I encourage parents to have monthly meal time meetings at any local restaurant where parents can be in control instead of having the government system in control of the communications. Elected representatives would be wise to attend those meetings.
5. History of changes in education and law.
6. Value of history must be realized by every student who seeks wisdom.
7. Historical value of the Bible as evidenced by the history of nations and testimonies of great men..
8. Role models for growing young men and women from the times of America's beginnings.
9.
Within the context of all choices available to parents for their children's education, it should be possible for a parent to choose what is taught. An atheistic interpretation of history or a godly interpretation?
Remember the words of George Washington: page 105, Original Intent, "The hand of Providence (the hand of God) has been so conspicuous in all this (the forming of America) that he must be worse than an infidel that lacks faith, and more than wicked, that has not gratitude enough to acknowledge his obligations. (to God and country)" Commander-in-Chief George Washington to General Thomas Nelson, 1778
If George Washington could say those words and be President and Commander-in-Chief, why should not we say them today? Why haven't they been said in school? Is it because someone was afraid? Or was it because someone didn't want to for some other reason? Why?
Remember to be atheist all it has to do is omit God. It doesn't have to preach and use the word atheist.
Atheism is atheism by Greek definition of A meaning without or against and THEO meaning God.
If the course is taught without God as the foundation of understanding, then it is Atheistic.
This is true for MATH which can be taught as Ordered Systems or as Chaos. Call to remembrance the words of our first President. The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained. Inaugural Address, President George Washington. I wish the system had presented the concept of ORDER SYSTEMS, the Harmony of the Spheres to my son in junior high more than it did Chaos. But, it didn't happen. I want to change that. At least give the children exposure to the option of how math will be presented, as random chaos or as an ordered system.
It is true for
LAW which can be taught as Relative based on social perception, or as Absolute based on God as it was until 1870. From 1870 to 1950, the Blackstone Commentary on Law which had been the standard for interpretation of law, was slowly replaced with Relative Case Law. Case Law allowed new definitions to evolve according to theories of evolutionary people required an evolutionary law. Thus the idea of constancy was given a false report, and the idea of evolutionary law, change, became the higher value. The new definitions were used to misrepresent the First Amendment. High school graduates today do not know the godly intent written into the Northwest Ordinance. Neither do they know the faith towards God expressed in the Declaration, nor its connections to the Constitution.
See David Barton's comments on the First Amendment.
PHYSICS AND BIOLOGY: See the Creation sites linked from my site index. They show you much evidence of how the sciences can be taught from two different belief systems. Your child deserves to be shown those evidences of life being the result of order. Is the law of entrophy true or not? If ordered systems tend to decay into disorder, then evolution could not have occured. Our schools today mostly teach just the opposite. If you want your child to be given resource material from the Creation viewpoint, then vote Larry Aubrey Rice for Trustee at Large, Saturday, May 2nd. A Ph.D. in the W.F.I.S.D school system told me "...creation science doesn't even deserve to be in our schools." I want to give public notice to every student of where he or she can find plenty of good creation based science evidence.
