These things and more are happening all across America today. And yet Americans are still surprised when reports like these turn up in their communities. But the surprise factor disappeared for me a long time ago---because I hear incredible stories like these every day from people across the United States who turn to the Rutherford Institute in their times of need.

the teacher in Spokane, Washington, who was suspended for two days without pay because he dared to mention creation in his Earth Science class.
the high school student in Martineq, California, who was told by her principal that she was not allowed to read her Bible or pray aloud while in school.
of citizens being harassed by authorities for trying to hold a Bible study in their home.

There are many stories where public schools have violated parental rights. There are many stories of citizens being harassed by authorities for trying to hold a Bible study in their home.
For more than fifteen years I have witnessed the tactics of anti-religious groups that want to purge America of its Judeo-Christian traditions. Their methods include harassment and intimidation through the courts and media.
And you can be certain that these groups have planned their strategy, mobilized their resources and made their opinions known.
It is time for us to start making our opinions known.
I founded the Rutherford Institute to protect our constitution freedoms because I saw that this was quickly becoming a nation where religious faith, family values and respect for human life were treated with hostility.
Those of us who value faith, family and freedom must stand in defense of these basic liberties today.
I need your opinion.

How involved is the government in your family life? Too much, too little, just enough

Do you think the government should be allowed to play a part in parenting and discipling your children?

Do you think using police checkpoints is a good idea?

Do you want outcome-based education in your local schools?

Should students be allowed to form religious clubs in public schools? Should children be forced to perform community service in order to graduate?

Should the gov. provide vouchers for students who wish to attend private schools?

Do you want children to be taught that homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle?

Do you think that what happens in other countries could eventually affect the U.S.?
