Function
God gives us life.
That's where teaching ought to begin.
Then proceed out to teach the things around us in the world that are close to us every day.
Then teach the abc's and arithmetic and the other things.
It's more important for a kid to know what's good to eat and why not to eat certain things
than to have memorized a key sequence on a particular brand of calculator.
It's more important to set him free from the barage of tv ads telling him to eat junk food
than to memorize an essay about The Upside Down School House which so many read in the third grade.
But the current federally mandated school system doesn't see things the way I do.
Read a 1952 Britannica article on education and then contrast that to a 1998 World Book article.
Guess what your child is learning in school. The 1998 World Book version is what's happening now.
And the things of God should be taught every day.
Repeatedly like the dew on the grass.
Deepening like a river with each telling.
Ripening in understanding and depth from year to year as the stories are told over and again
with greater detail and richer understanding.
The old stories from original documents of America's struggle for their rights under God as stated
plainly in the Declaration of Independence should be a routine part of teaching at every year of the child's school work.
What didn't they teach you in school because it's too important for you to know?
This is part of a book that is called,
"Everything they didn't teach you in school because it's too important for you to know."
What didn't they teach you?
Big general summary: The most important things and how to recognize priorities of importance.
They kept you busy counting and studying the patterns of leaves blowing in the wind
and impressed your mind with how hard it was to learn them all and track all their movements in the winds of the
moment, the season, and the four seasons, and then they impressed you more next year, by pointing out
"See, here's a whole new crop of leaves for you to study again this year."
By, by, brain. Enjoy your time chasing leaves.
But the seed, and the planting, and the foundations,... they omitted.
Why? They didn't want you to have a strong opinion about anything.
So they conditioned you to focus on the random, small, insignificant tricks of how a leaf spins in a
momentary current of wind. And praised you for your great attention to such details.
And they gave you handheld math calculators so you wouldn't ever learn how to think.
But you could feel good because you memorized a button pushing sequence just like a good monkey for a
particular brand of calculator. Oh, if you switched brands, you had to memorize a different button pushing sequence.
Some kids even got awards for memorizing multiple brands of button pushing sequences.
But understanding what was going on? Well, not much.
What is around you?
What is set before you
Early American parents knew the obvious, but the obvious is more clear when you live in nature rather
than concrete and computer virtual imagination.
It was pretty easy to know you had to teach your kids how to recognize and avoid the pitfalls,
the bear traps, the wolf traps, the pit-holes, the well-holes (not to fall in them), quicksand,
whirlpools in the river eddy, indian arrows, the English troops, the French troops, the head-butchering Indians,
and even the Catholic priests who made friends with the Indians to use them as support for the French troops.
Then there was the poison-ivy, the deadly berries, and the killer mushrooms, all different from
the decorative ivy, the blue berries, and the edible mushrooms.
Yes, it was simpler back then to recognize your enemies, the potential life-threatening situations, and
the good, and the bad, and the ugly.
But for generations now, they call the bad good and the good bad.
Virtual entertainment and virtual lying business has convinced too many that all is relative,
and what you see on the surface and believe is what virtual reality is for you.
Well, folks, virtual reality as it is called, is a lie. People have come to interpret the word "reality"
as meaning true. Many even say, "What you imagine is what is truth for you."
There is no truth but God and that which derives from Him,
through Him, and by Him and of Him. All that contradicts Him is a lie.
Today, what is around your children? It's not the French and Indians like in 1760 America.
Neither is it the wild forest rivers like in 1640 America. Not even a problem today with them eating
poison berries, there's no place for good or poisonous berries to grow around your kids.
But there is something else. The things around your kids today is a lot of false advertising (Coke is life)
, plastic advertising, plastic credit, plastic money, plastic emotions, even plastic food (margarine, artificial butter, is just one molecular bond away from being a true plastic)
plastic church, ( a coming part of the new world order where no man can buy or sell without the mark )
and all those who are deceived and will be deceived because they received not a love of the truth.
Ref xxxx 2Thess xxxx
Today, as then, its necessary to teach the children of the things which are set before them.
What things are set before your children?
Count the number of ways a poison ivy might infect your child's heart or mind.
Remember the scripture, Guard your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life."
(Ref xxx Ps Proverbs )
Genesis 47:19 give us seed that we may live and not die.....
Seed connects with repeating patterns. Learn to see the repeating patterns of foundational truth.
It exists in life, it exists in this present world. But without it, many die.
Some may think this verse refers only to grain, others to offspring; but you can connect it with all
the truth of repeating patterns and the repeating patterns of truth.
You shall know a tree by its fruit.
Luke 6:44 You can connect the fruit with the word funtion.
It is the function of a pecan tree to reproduce pecans.
Using scripture, rightly divided, of Genesis 47:19, Luke 6:44
we can see that function is a first priority of teaching and couples together with the function
of those things "set before you". Learn to see the function of those common things in your daily
affairs and know their fruit. Be aware of their history, this helps know their path, what is moving them
and where they're going. Remember the cannon ball story so you always love to know from whence a thing
came. Learn the seed, the root, trunk, branches, to recognize the leaves and the fruit of any tree system of affairs.
But don't waste your time studying all the leaves blowing in the wind.
Wind relates to different doctrines and opinions of men. "...every wind of doctrine..."Ref. xxxx
Examples of leaves blowing in the winds of men's opinions as to what's important and what's not:
1. many theories of psychology, keyneesian economics, and the U.N. manifesto for human rights, just to name a few.
2. most contemporary theories on education.
3.
What are important things set before you today? What things are all around you and your children?
The idea of using plastic credit cards to satisfy your immediate whims and wants.
The idea everything has to be fun or "I don't want to do it".
Most tv stories, cartoons, and junk
Most advertising is nothing but a lie. Consider, Winston tastes good like a cigarett should.
Yes, I can support this last one about advertising , it was taught to me fifty years ago by a man
who studied advertising. That was in the early days when they couldn't get away with so much.
Your guns and means of self-defence, well fewer people have those any more, but your child should be
shown how to use a gun.
Your Bible. Which is your standard? Please do a little research, or a lot. Do you know how one differs from
another? Which important verses are missing in the new books put onto the market.
Your money, your Bible, your gun, your history of your nation, your entertainment system, and your schools,
and your food, and your water...these things are set before you every day, as is your transportation. You should
know the root and the fruit of each of these things. You should know their history, and how to choose wisely for life.
IE, credit card financing is not life. It brings bondage and slavery and even the death of liberty in people's lives.
Also, drugs, whether sold by the doctor, the drug company, in a store or on the street, be aware.
That pretty well covers the main things set before you and your children today. Please study out the history
of each. It is vital to your ability to choose life and not death.
Can you see the tv conditioning children to live on credit.
Have you seen the ad where the one man asks the other, "How can you afford to do all these things?"
and the other just holds up his plastic credit card, and the boss says, Oh, I see. and smiles."
Have you seen the Federal Reserve print money to flood the markets with paper currency?
Do you know the history of money? See the pages on this site about money.
Why did God spend so many scriptures on the ways people can cheat with money, even when they put up
a show of using honest scales and weights to measure the money? Think about it. Count the references.
Enormous. Study out how people can cheat you with an apparently honest system of weights and balances.
It's a good study and worth your time.
Genesis 1:11 the fruit tree yeilding fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself....
seed produces its own,.... is within itself..
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God...... the way to solve any problem....
Yes, parents should teach their children who's trying to teach them what and why they're doing it.
Remember the Frenchman who figured out around the time of the revolution, leaders didn't have to kill people
all they had to do was teach their children what they wanted them to know.
Well, Joseph Stalin applied that to the communists in Russia.
A leader who was sworn into office by a church person, and took an oath to God, promising good things
for his people, Hitler, applied the idea of teaching children what he wanted them to know.
The U.N. and U.N.E.S.C.0. knows it. Why don't you? Because the schools don't teach it. It's too important for you to know.
Social engineering is a big business. Just take a look at the university level psychology and marketing texts.
