Understanding is the most important thing.
Better than knowledge alone, which a tape recorder can have. Knowledge can be possessed in a book,
or on a disk in a computer, but without understanding, it means little to nothing. It is of no
significance without understanding. With all your getting, get Understanding. (Proverbs xxx.xx)
What must we understand? And why?
God is. He is what He is and no one can change Him or change what He is. He is the LORD and there is none else.
He will be found of them who diligently seek Him.
Why is the existence of God the first thing we must understand, and then believe on and act accordingly?
Because your response to His existence, to Him, to His being, is what determines your eternal destiny.
Remember your physics. Matter and energy can neither be created nor destroyed. You exist forever
in one place or another. You are here on earth in your present body to make the choice whether you want
to spend eternity with God or in the place of castaways, in the trash fire, in the eternal consequence of sin.
You have plenty of teachers who can explain that in more detail.
You are here, still living in the time of this present world. Twenty four hours a day is yours to spend
each time the sun sets in the west and rises in the east. How you spend that time, moment by moment is like grains of sand forming the beaches for the ocean of your life. Each moment seems so small, but has eternal consequences.
Redeem your time wisely. Avoid the appearance of evil. Leave the presence of fools. Choose good company and good things.
PEACE
The kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but Righteousness, Peace, and Joy.
Righteousness comes with living by faith towards God, even the righteousness of God as a free gift imparted to you by your
faith towards Him.
Peace comes as we obey Him. It begins to flow like a river in our heart. Even when all around us is in turmoil, within
we can still hold the peace of God. We're told to seek peace and holiness , without which no man can see the Lord.
Notice strongly here that it puts peace first. There is no true holiness without peace. Trying to be holy just makes one uptight.
You can practice many things that help in giving peace. Letting go of yoor tensions, getting physically comfortable
and then breathing slowly, deeply, and fully inhaling and exhaling to a rhythm of peace can help get the physical peace into your body. Then having all the physical discomforts removed, you can seek peace in your mind. This may all require a closed room
with no tv, no tick-tock of a clock, and no interuptions. A time sealed off from any interuptions can be a good and helpful thing.
When you obey the commandments of God, then your peace will flow like a river.
Within the limits of each day are times for every good thing you need to do. A time to be still and a time to move.
A time to gather and a time to cast away. I wish I had learned earlier a bigger significance of the cast away part of that verse.
We have to carry out the trash. Before that we must pick up the waste and prepare for disposal (casting away) else it builds
to overcoming proportions and can be harmful. This is best seen, the time to gather and time to cast away, with the
personal act of eating and relieving. God has a very important openings in the body for the purpose of getting rid of things not needed or helpful. Just as the body bloats and dies though poison if we fail to eliminate waste, so the life we live
tends to bulge and get sick if we let small waste accumulate around us till it becomes blockage to other things we want to do.
Failure to understand this can poison a life with the accumulation of wastes. Many variations on this theme are worthy of consideration.

I commend you to God and His Spirit, trusting in His loving kindnesses and tender mercies to keep you forever. Amen.
Would that I could have given you more in person. Would that I could have compiled a library of all I wanted to do for you,
with you, and give you. But I have to trust God to fill in for my short comings, and Christ is your sufficiency.
Love and peace, always, dad.
I love you with all my heart, and my hug is with you, my arms wrapped around you, holding you and protecting you in the LORD.
For He is with you always. And you are in Him, and He is in you.
