True life foundation
Are you hunting for truth?
Some students looking for truth may find this. If you want an authority of truth you can trust, read here.
There's many books out there claiming to give you guidance.
I'll tell you in the face of God, there is truth.
You can live your life by the faith of Him who created you.
Before you were in your mother's womb, He knew you.
He has a plan and a purpose for you.
The Bible has the guidance you are seeking.
Seek out the book of the Lord and read.
His Spirit will fill in the gaps for you, and lead you to more understanding.
A few points here to get you started.
Integrity has to do with keeping your word, with being faithful and true; loyal to the end. God tells us He is, and that He changes not.
He is true to who He is. He doesn't go around changing like a chameleon to please people.
Read a book on the Ten Commandments. That will show you more details on keeping your integrity with God. It will help you and strengthen you
to keep the integrity of who you are in Christ, ie. what God made you to be.
Whatsoever you do, that do with all your heart. And do it as unto God, and not just as unto men to please them or yourself.
Fear God rather than men. Put your trust in God rather than men, or any device.
Let God increase His order in your life. He is come to order your life and to establish it. (Isaiah 9:7)
The result of order will be peace for your soul and heart rather than stress and anxiety.
A few guidelines to get you started.
1. Now is the time to begin with what God has given you to do right. Canaan wasn't taken in a day. They took it city by city
and you too have to grow in things one step at a time. See Heb 11:1-3 Now is important. Now faith is... Break the habit of
putting things off. Do what is right for you to do now, with what you know now, and you will grow. For now we see as through a glass
darkly.... but as we walk towards the light while we have the light, then the light becomes brighter and brighter as we walk toward it.
2. Do more helpful things, things that are productive instead of just seeking to be entertained.
Some stay up late watching other people live their lives on tv, and by staying up late watching tv they waste their own life.
Some seek to be entertained even during the day and evening, instead of doing some good and fruitful activity themselves.
But with your faith towards God, you can find good and helpful things to fill your day, and then your sleep will be sweet and not
restless.
3. In the morning, after some mild streching and flexing exercise, take time to give your body what it needs for a good start on the day.
Eat a wise breakfast. Eggs, true 100% whole wheat bread, whole milk, a piece of fruit. Not just cereal and sugar. Give your brain
and body the energy source it needs to function like God intended. Don't try to live on excitement and hurry up skipping breakfast.
4. Eat, sleep, and be clean. Simple, but worth saying again.
5. Take time to remember the whole cycle of food. Lives are ruined by continual constipation.
6. A regular intake of olive oil helps keep the body oiled and working like it should. The body needs certain good oils.
7. A time to be still and focus your thoughts with God can help guide your day. Several times a day.
8. Honor your parents and the authorities they recognize in your life, such as your teachers at school.
Help your parents out around the home. Show them, yourself, and God that you're growing up and able to do the things basic to the house.
Take time to read and study the books given you to learn. It is foolish to just look through them and ignore the details.
Fools despise instruction. If you want to be wise, receive instruction and correction, without excuses and without complaining.
9. Study about the people of God entering into Canaan. It's a major lesson for life and for living your life.
Many things about the Jewish history are a picture of events in the lives of people everywhere, for all time. You can learn much
that will help you and save you many problems. Jessie-Penlewis has a book, The Conquest of Canaan, well worth your time to read.
10. Remember you are given the same amount of time each day as the rich man and the poor man. How will you spend your time?
You are given 24 hours, how will you divide them ? What will you do during those hours? Will there be fruit? Will there be
seeds planted. Will you cultivate the things you've began, and finish them? Recognize the fool starts many races but finishes none.
Finish what you start. Let God's order come into your life (Isaiah 9:7). Pray and ask Him to fulfill Isaiah 9:7 in your life.
11. Be willing to lay the foundations before you try to do the walls and roof. Sure it's easier to see the walls, but you need
a good foundation before you can build them right. Apply this thought to each activity of your life. First things first.
One of the names, Alpha and Omega, of God, shows order. There is order in life. When a body loses too much order, it dies.
The chemistry of your body is wonderfully ordered. Don't mess it up with drugs, or lack of sleep, or fornication diseases.
12. Realize there are only a few voices which you need to hear for guidance in your life. Your parents, your teacher(s) and perhaps
a few more authorities and friends. But after that, you don't have enough time to listen to all the news on tv, and all the stories
on talk shows, and all the stuff being put out every day by more and more voices. Don't think you have to keep up with all
the latest gadgets of news and music, and tunes. Can you imagine the new tv advertisements telling people they can listen to over
a million new tunes. Don't fall for it. Save time for your self and things important to your life, so you can get them done.
13. In this world today it can require some good understanding to select which foods are good for your body.
For example, many loaves of bread have a big lable saying Whole Wheat , but when you read the fine print, they're far from 100%.
It's better to get 100% Whole Wheat bread, even if from the Day Old Store at half price.
Deception in food for the sake of profits has been increasing greatly as science increases in ways to adulterate food.
Why is this important to you? Because you want to keep healthy chemistry in your body, you should pick good foods to eat.
In some places it is necessary to even filter the water because so many contaminates can confuse body chemistry and hurt a life style.
14. Recognize your teacher, your mentor; and spend the time to learn what is given. God will show you a teacher.
15. It is given to you to choose out of all the thousands of things offered what you shall accept and what you shall reject.
To eat, which food to put into your mouth.
To hear, which mental "food" to put into your mind.
To see, which things you choose to watch, to focus on.
Let God teach you discretion. Be wise. Choose well, and it shall be well with you.
Remember that trash books, trash food, and trash tv is ruining many lives.
Reject those things of trash and accept only that which you have proven to be good and helpful.
(Isaiah 7:15) Choose your friends wisely.
Remember that God planned what He would do, and then He did it. Take time to organize and plan.
You have a long cycle list, a medium cycle list, and a short cycle list. Year, month, week, day. Keep a good balanced
perspective of your time and what you're going to do to fill that time, how you're going to use that time, what you're going to do with it.
The concept of wheels within wheels can be likened to the galaxy and our solar system and the earth and moon.
You have things of your list to do. Some are long cycle, others are shorter. Recognizing this when you make your lists
of things to do can be a big help in keeping things in order. When you see many things on your list, it's like a man
spinning wheels on different sticks. He has to keep them all spinning; but some are bigger than others and spin longer inbetween
times that he must get back to them.
Read the book God gave. Read the KJV Bible. You'll get used to the words. God raised up the king's heart to produce that book
and sent it around the world. You can trust it. All the others add to or take from what is presented in the King James Version.
It takes a little work to get used to it. But it has a depth and a truth and a faithfulness that is lacking in the others.
Treasure up the scripture in your heart more than if it was silver and gold.
Pray for God to teach you by His Spirit and then let Him.
These things can be a beginning. More details will be filled in as you begin taking the good steps, you will see more light.
