Stand up for God
Vote Wise 2008: External links at bottom of this page
To vote wisely we need to know what good things are worthy of our vote.
Here's a few things worth knowing. You can help print and distribute for others to see.
It would be very satisfactory if I could vote for a man motivated by things like these:
to let his decisions and his laws be in accordance with God who created us
Alexander Hamilton said, "The law...dictated by God Himself is, of course,
superior in obligation to any other.
It is binding over all the globe, in all countries, and at all times.
No human laws are of any validity if contrary to this." Alexander Hamilton
was a signer of the Constitution and a military leader.
George Washington said in his Inaugural Address
The propitious (favorable) smiles of heaven
can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order
and right (what is right to do and plan) which Heaven itself has ordained.
The Declaration of Independence tells us our rights were given by God their Creator.
That same document also tells us of the laws of nature and of nature's God.
It also expresses a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence.
The love of truth in agreement with God and His will and His purposes is key
to good government.
