Fathers help your son

Fathers, turn your heart to your son

Help your child gain true confidence.

True confidence comes with experience of good things accomplished.

Claiming confidence can be a good thing accomplished.

So we should say the truth, which is what God says about us.
That's a start.
Then do. That's the end.
The end of a thing is better than the beginning.
Many begin a race, some finish it.

Saying "I can read is one thing." And many students say it who can't read as they ought. Help them learn to read as well as they can.

Reading is a powerful tool. It can give you teachers in books when no live teacher is around. Books used to be called the door way to knowledge.

Its wonderful to see a student eager to read, to whom picking up a good book is no challenge, but a joy and delight. Picking up a good book should be a source of inspiration and accomplishment.
But I've seen students shyly explain they hesitated to take on the task of finishing a book because they figured even for a half inch thick book, it would take them a couple weeks to read it. This ought not to be.

It's not too late to help your child learn to love reading.
So help him or her before a life long habit of avoiding books is established.

Give them the gift of words and reading. Read more about the Word Foundation Building Block #1 and use it with your student.

The foundation given in this first building block will pave the way for many more giant steps in your child's life.
But without the good foundation, can't build very high. Don't let your child be deprived of this reading foundation. The schools are not providing a solid foundation. It has to come from home. Read more.
