• STATE DAY CARE TAKES OVER MOMMIES DUTY TO HER CHILDREN: Texas A&M getting million dollar day-care center for infants to school age so mothers can give up their children to a state child rearing facility. Used to be that we looked down on that state system of child-rearing when it was done by the atheistic government of communist Russia. Now that we call it an American necessity, and now that we justify and excuse and help and encourage parents giving up their children to a day care system,.... it doesn't seem to be looked at the same way. Infant day care is encouraged by the state system. This is not good. Go read Brave New World again. A national magazine carried a front page story about the death of the family 25 years ago. It is happening. And too many people don't care like they should.
• CHILDREN'S TIME WITH FAMILY REDUCED BY STATE AGAIN: State funding of all day kindergarten in Texas so children can be earlier trained into the mass system instead of being with their family during the formative years.
• DUMBING DOWN of curriculum even in math and science. Second year honors biology for high school now has crossword puzzles to motivate the students and questions about television show animals to entertain the students. I have been told this is to help deal with the 'short attention span' and keep students interested. ie to make biology more interesting. This was at Rider High School Wichita Falls, Texas. I have seen extreme use of crossword puzzles in elementary school. This year, Dallas and Houston papers carried reports of American students coming in 27th in the world standardized tests for math and 17th in science. • BIOLOGY: Students from Rider report the standardized biology tests were a joke. Consisting mostly of a chart from which you selected the answers. The chart gave away the answers, so I guess they all passed and made Rider look pretty good. This kind of testing is what the Excellence in Education awards represent! Don't be fooled by the repeated propaganda put out by the state about Excellence in Education!
• MATH: Ninth grade honors math student, top 10%, at Rider H.S. didn't know how to solve Distance=Rate *Time for Rate. American students tested at the bottom of the world's countries, 27th place in mathematics this year. See article by nationally recognized teacher about the dumbing down of math.
• READING: Too many students take too long to read a simple story. See article on Why Johny Can't Read But Does Feel Good About Himself When a student takes four or five times longer to read a book than is necesary, they are robbed of learning. A reading rate of 135 words per minute is pitiful. Years ago, the typical reading speed of high school seniors was in the range of 450 words per minute to 800 words per minute. Today, teachers say reading rate is no longer meaured. They only try to measure comprehension. Parents, you can measure both. And comprehension goes up when the students learn to read better. At 130 words per minute you forget what you read before you reach something to associate it with so it can be reinforced. Boredom and lack of association results of such slow reading rates. • EARTH SCIENCE: A Ph.D. from Wichita Falls ISD told me that the reason our schools don't let the children know about the science facts as presented by creation science is that "Creation Science doesn't deserve to be in our schools." She said she had a Ph.D. and she knew what she was talking about. I told one thing she should know is there are thousands of Ph.D's who disagree with her opinions. Please let the students know about the creation science links on the world wide web. It will bless their soul.
• LIBRARY: I was told "There isn't enough money to buy those books on Creation Science." There wasn't one single book to be found in Rider H.S. presented from the creation view. What's in your school? Check out the link from this site to Creation Science on the World Wide Web.

• NEW WORLD ECONOMIC ORDER: This phrase was used over 200 times by President Bush. It exists in WFISD literature in the context of making our students better fitted for the new world economic order. It is quite different from making them better citizens of America, one nation under God. Trusting in the U.N. is not the same as teaching children to trust in God.

In 1997, the Supreme Court has reversed the 1993 Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Notice the title of what was reversed. Restoration means the restoring of what once was but had been removed, is now being put back, or restored. So we once had religious freedom. Much of it was removed, taken from us by the courts, not by the legislature, not Constitutionally, but by a run away supreme court. The Religious Freedom Restoration Act tried to restore some of those destroyed freedoms. In 1997 even that restoration act was destroyed, put down, done away. Sad to say for Americans, your religious freedoms are being robbed and you are sitting on your hands.
