In memory of my roots and where and how and from whom I learned what I learned, even how to learn. For teaching me how to learn, I thank my father and my mother. My father taught me the necessity of thought, and how men will do nearly anything to avoid the work of thought. My father was in counter-intelligence and taught me to prove all things.
My mother taught me how to focus and use all my senses on whatever I was working to learn. My grandmother and mother and father gave me faith towards God.
My father's raised letter plaque hanging in the house all my life said "Only one life , twill soon be past, Only what's done For Christ will last. To me to live is Christ." It gave reference to Phil 1:21

The specific interest and understanding that laid the foundation for this site
site exists because of my English teacher, Mrs. Sorenson at A&M Consolidated H.S. in 1959 through 1961 and my history teacher, Larry Hayes.

Mrs. Sorenson was seventy, retired from a university professorship, revered in the community, and taught us a little of cultural evaluation through its language and writings. She also taught us to watch for changes akin to the rewriting of history as shown in 1984, Brave New World, and other books. She said tv and schools would be used to change America through the children. She said she'd already observed much revisionism in her life time, especially in the teaching profession. Some of those older teachers of those days were witnesses of the changes coming from what was called Progressive Education, born of John Dewey. They had seen the change from good books to the shallowness of Dick and Jane readers for children, and they had seen much more. In memory of Mrs. Sorenson, Coach Larry Hayes, and conversations with my friends, Condy and Frank and others, this page gives grateful thanks for those days and those searching hearts. We were looking for truth. I trust you are too.

This began because of how the public school system was found doing things behind my back, not even wanting me to know what they were doing. And they were bold enough, unofficially to tell me so. They, and other officials and high people, literally told me, they didn't want parents knowing what they were doing.

This site is written from a good faith understanding of scripture and the will of God.
Hopefully, you will see the light of Christ focusing ordered sets of scripture as they apply to each area of life.
Jesus said the Spirit of Truth will lead you into all truth.
Before He went to the cross, He declared that He would not leave us alone, but that He would send the Holy Spirit to us.
It is that Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, that we trust to guide our thoughts and understanding. His word is a lamp and a light for us to apply by faith to each situation of our life.
His word is alive. We are not to keep it in a vacuum, but to apply it like salt to every thing we think and say and do. To that end, I am working to gather life's subjects under scriptural groupings for your reference. As I endeavor to focus the light on particular areas of life, please remember that my presentation is not perfect, far from it, but it will be useful to anyone who is seeking ordered truth. God can anoint the truth to anyone who is seeking the truth, so that even though we do not see it all, yet we can see what God wants us to see in order that we may understand and do it. For these reasons, I invite you to read on and learn something more of God's way to unscramble the knots in life, and get a smooth path.

When I didn't know what to do for my life, I prayed and asked God "What shall I do?" Then a scripture was anointed to me so that I understood something more of it.
It said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all that you need will be added unto you."
So that put things in order for me. I knew what to do first. My life has been a progression since then of seeking to seek God in due order. See 1 Chronicles 15:13.

3. Family, training up children, Genesis 1:27 Gen 18:19, Malachi 4:6 (last verse of O.T.)

4. Money, and all its purchases and uses, The Bible speaks abundantly about money.

So I have chosen these four areas as major headings. I like these four by reason of the scripture that places importance upon them. I like the number of four that fits so well on the four sides of a throne and of the box formed on the cross when you extend the lines. Anything else that can be covered, I will place in one or more of these categories, linking them, and cross-linking just as cells in a body are all connected, all together. Not that this division is perfect, but I chose to use it, as the best I could understand for the purpose of my work. Thank you for being patient with me, as I seek to give understanding, and sometimes, even often, repeat a matter in saying it a different way. It is my understanding that when a person hears the same thing two different ways, it helps him focus better to see it clearer. Thus, being a teacher, I offer more than is needed by some, but be sure that others are glad for it all. Those of you who only need to hear it once can bear with those who may need to have it said again in a slightly different way. In the end, we shall all know and understand even as He, but now, we see as through a glass darkly (1 Cor 13:12, and so we labor on being transformed from glory to glory as we keep our eyes fixed (Hebrews 12:2 2Cor 3:18 Rom 12:2) upon Him.

To consider these topics in another way, it is that we receive all from God. So God is the all and all and the three topics are major headings for areas of our life as we live in Christ. Under those three headings, seen as emanating from God, we can study all things of this present world relating to our life. So God would be the trunk, and three major branches would be food, family, and money. Jesus said, "I am the vine, ye are the branches...." (See John 15), so since He is also the Way and the Truth and the Life, I compare the issues of life, issuing forth from Him, and have just categorized them for a point of reference and focus.
