WISDOM

The Holy Bible has more wisdom than thousands of other books that fill public schools. It was considered the fountain head of all knowledge by the founders of this nation.
Harvard, Yale, Princeton and 187 of the first 200 colleges in America required thorough Bible knowledge as entrance requirements. Holy Scripture is the standard by which any other ideas can evaluated. The signers of our Declaration of Independence and Constitution knew this to be true.

The Founding Fathers of this great nation called for the Bible to always remain at the foundation of any education. Men who agree with this view include:
Fisher Ames, author of the house language for the first amendment called for the Bible to always remain as the foundation of education.

John Adams
,
Joseph Story, U. S. Supreme Court Justice and Father of American Jurisprudence:
John Quincy Adams,
Governor Morris, penman of the Constitution said America is"... an independent nation of Christians...bound by the laws of God, which they all, and by the laws of the Gospel, which nearly they all, acknowledged as the rules of their conduct ."
John Q. Adams!

Patrick Henry said, "the Bible is worth more than all the other books ever printed.";
Daniel Webster;
John Jay original Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court,;
Noah Webster said, "The Bible is the chief moral cause of all that is good and the best corrector of all that is evil in human society; the best book for ...concerns of men."

The truth that majority believed as stated above is demonstrated in the NorthWest Ordinance. It passed by majority vote and required a godly education. The government of our nation put requirements for godly education in the NorthWest Ordinance as requirements for a territory to be accepted as a new state. Few teachers know about this today. It is no longer included in text books. If the powers that control text books want children to see how important a Bible based education was once considered, they could include such history in the books.

WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY was originally filled with references to holy scripture, from preface to end. This can be seen at the Midwestern State University rare books collection. It is documented but not taught to children or even teachers today. That man spoke many languages. He published his own translation of the Bible. He testified to compiling the dictionary with scripture references so people could learn to understand the holy scripture. Webster was a wise man. We use dictionaries with his name on them, but who takes his advice to study the scripture?

God has given us all things necessary for life and godliness in the scripture. Still the school system spends the precious time of children on isolated details of knowledge. Knowledge increases but unless a child can see the pattern of truth to put things in due order, then the child becomes confused in a sea of random bits of knowledge. Not all knowledge is truth. Where there is no order, there is confusion of purpose and idea.

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. Taking that to be true, one who has not the fear of God has not even the beginnings of wisdom. If a man fears God, then he is afraid to not do what God says. If a man distains God, then he is able to justify himself in doing contrary to the clear instructions of God.

It is wisdom to depart from evil. It is evil to depart from the Bible in bringing up children.
I have heard a lot of dads say "If you don't know why I'm telling you to do this, just do what I say, and after you do it, then you'll be able to understand why." Sometimes its the same way between us and God. Sometimes people can't understand why they should do things the Bible says until after they've done it.
The experience of obeying Almighty God gives a grace for wisdom and understanding. If any man hear the word and excuses himself from doing it, he is deceiving himself.
James 1:22... self-deceived
Matthew 7:24 wise man is the one who hears the word and does it
Matthew 12:50
Luke 6:43-49
1 Cor 3:18 Let no man deceive himself...
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived. God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap
Colossians 3:17 Whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God ...
2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and deceivers shall increase more and more, deceiving and being deceived...

Since removal of the Ten Commandments and excluding God by legalities from public school, evil has increased among school age children. Check the numbers on suicide, pregnancy, failures, dropouts, grades, SAT, violence, etc... American has sown the wind and is reaping the whirlwind... See literature on this subject published by Josh McDowell. Especially the book Right and Wrong by Josh McDowell for a good overview on this topic.

When school quit teaching the absolute values of God, and denied God from its hallways, even to taking down the Ten Commandments, crime and violence increased. The stupid supreme court judge ruled that the Ten Commandments had to be taken down because some student might read them and think he had to abide by them. God forgive that judge who wrote that opinion. Ask God to have mercy on this nation and forgive us for not standing up for Him and His Truth.

Show me a child today who is encouraged to study the whole Bible, and I will show you a blessed student. Too many think all they need to do is maybe learn a verse a week or a verse a month. They forget more than they learn at that rate. We are told to receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save our souls and does bring forth fruit in us since the day we heard it in grace and truth.

People now in America wind up in their old age still not knowing the Bible because they don't take God seriously about studying the Bible. There was a time when good teachers told students to study the scriptures so they could understand life. Sin is abounding; look at Dolly the sheep and consider the brave new world in which our children live. Who will teach your children's children? The excuses are growing at an increasing rate. Those excuses for ignoring the Bible are sin. Sin is abounding. Look at the teenage murder rate increasing. Look at the unwed mothers and abortions. Count the parents who will not teach the Bible to their children. Count the pastors who let those people stay asleep. Forgive us our sins, O God, and give us mercy to repentance. In Jesus Name, Amen. Who believes that the just shall live by faith? Let them also believe that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, not by our own imaginations. Let us receive the word of God with a hungry heart. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness. They shall be filled. Amen.
